Are bots more common now?
I haven't played fortnite in a long time and during a road trip I decided I was bored and gave it another go. My first game in years I won with 15 kills and I was playing badly too. I missed half my shots and still only lost my over shield during 4 fights. I am doing zero build so there's less players but I don't think I killed a single player that whole game. Also kind of unrelated but some of my kills became knocked first even though I was doing solo. I'm not really sure why
Has this been happening to anyone else?

WIBTA if I refuse to switch to a silent alarm for my roommate?
I am moving to university in the fall from community college and have been talking to my assigned roommate. I need a loud alarm in order to wake up, but my roommate has asked me to either have no alarm at all or switch to a silent alarm. I've never tried a silent alarm before, so I tried one for about a week and I've slept through it every day I tried it. I'm not the kind of person to press snooze for 30 minutes. I can wake up after it goes off once, but I'm going to have to get up early if I want to be on time for classes. I told him that silent alarms don't work for me and I can wake up after one alarm, but he still wants me to have one. WIBTA if I refuse and keep my loud alarm?
ETA: Even though the general consensus seems to be that I'm in the clear, I forgot to add that bedrooms in my dorm are separate from each other, it isn't a shared room like a traditional dorm. As in there's my door, then a hallway to his door, so the sound should be somewhat muffled by it.
Can I make tar.gz apps searchable in Linux Mint?
Basically title. When I install an app with apt I can search it using the Windows key, is there a way I can make tar.gz apps searchable in the same way?
Can't get Linux Mint to install
I'm trying to install Mint on my laptop, but it fails every time with error number 5. I verified my iso using the instructions on the Mint website, and I tested my usb with H2testw and it came back good. I'm not sure if H2 can test drive health or just true storage capacity so maybe my drive is still bad. My laptop is brand new, I just unboxed it today so I wouldn't think its drive would be the problem. I can boot into live but it just doesn't want to install, does anyone have and ideas what it could be? Might be worth mentioning that I corrupted Windows during the process and reinstalled it successfully with the same drive I'm trying to install Linux with.
