is installing custom rom to my main phone im bout to install this lineage os 23 custom rom to my phone would it make sense should install it and i never installed a custom rom to any phone i am waiting for a reply
Hey everyone! Just dropped a clean update for my music KWGT widget. Here is what changed:
Replaced the gradient BG with a nice blurred & darkened background.
Fixed some font bugs.
Enhanced the control buttons for a cleaner look.

js an aosp volume panel mod for xiaomi no root no bootloader unlock or something just install the apk and reboot and there is a aosp power menu too but it only works for android 14+ i will put the download link on comments for hyperos and hyperos.eu

When holding the power button to trigger the Gemini assistant, the transparent screen overlay no longer appears. Instead, it opens the Gemini app. This issue started today.
Because it opens as a completely separate full-screen app, I can't ask about contents on the screen.
I have already:
Force stopped the Google app
Restarted my phone.
Turned "Display over other apps" permission off and then on again for the Google App
Treid using Microsoft Copilot as my assistant instead of Gemini (its overlay works!)
Changed the assistant from Gemini back to the old Google Assistant (this one's overlay also works)
When I roll back the Google App version in the play store, the Gemini overlay appears exactly as it should.
As soon as I update the Google App to the latest version in the Play Store, the overlay breaks again and falls back to launching the full Gemini app.

I really want to root my phone, but I'm worried about Play Integrity. I'm scared that banking apps and other essential services might stop working. Is it worth the risk for a daily driver?
Previously, Gemini used to open as a small pop-up overlay regardless of how I triggered it (power button, corner swipe, etc.). Now, it opens in full screen mode for everything except voice commands.
I want it to open as a pop-up again when I use the power button or gestures, just like it used to. Does anyone know how to force Gemini back into the overlay/pop-up view on HyperOS? I've checked the "Display over other apps" and "Pop-up window" permissions but it's still opening in full screen. Thanks!
