My clay soil is not so wet it's clay or dry it's solid, so I can easily pull weeds by hand, feeling the satisfying little pull as the root ball pops out.
Does anyone make a choice of drink / credit card / airline /tyres (!) etc because of the sponsorship? Will everyone be rushing out to buy new insurance or bet online or even buy trainers because the name is on pitch side ad screens?
Clearly I'm thinking this because of the World Cup but its all sports really.

As per the RSPB: Research has shown a worrying decline in some of our much-loved garden birds due to a disease called trichomonosis. This is a highly contagious disease and can spread where birds gather in large numbers such as at bird feeders.
