Survey junkie has been terrible the past week.

I have been screened out, told “we’re seeing double”, finished whole surveys and at the last screen receive some type of error, and just be disqualified for no reason lately.

Anyone else having these issues lately?

PLZ HELP!? Dealing with the craziest set of symptoms for months and no answers.

Hi I’m a 41 yo M. 5’11 225lbs.
Medication: Trazadone 150mgs at night sleep.

Symptoms that are constant:
\-Neck pain and muscle stiffness
\-Severe light sensitivity
\-My vision looks like mild TV static sort of translucent
\-Hyper sensitive nervous system (overly emotional, jump out of my skin at the smallest of sounds, panic attacks, sweaty palms and impending doom feeling.
\-Brain fog, terrible short-term memory
\-extremely sensitive to small amounts of coffee or nicotine

Symptoms that come and go:
\-Chest pain, my heart rumbles really hard sometimes, or it may just be really fast.
\-A feeling of disassociation
\-tingling in the back of the skull.
\-pressure in my skull.

Before all of this happened, I was very active. I worked out at least three times a week, lifting weights and ran on the treadmill three times a week.

About four months ago, a pain settled in the back of my neck, right below the base of my my skull. I noticed light sensitivity in the beginning and then over the course of another week. It got really bad and that’s when all of the symptoms came crashing down on me. I tried to manage at work for about six weeks and then I ended up quitting because I kept making so many mistakes and I couldn’t function. I’ve been to the ER six times I’ve been to my primary care twice. I’ve been to the urgent care twice. I have a neurology appointment the 19th. I recently saw an orthopedic they prescribed physical therapy. I’ve been doing that for about three weeks for my cervical neck area it has not helped. I’ve had CT scans of my head and neck. They were negative x-rays are negative. All bloodwork is negative. I was cleared from the ER for heart attack and stroke. EKG is normal insurance wouldn’t pay for the MRI. I had to do at least six weeks of physical therapy. Still waiting to finish.

Any help anyone can provide I would greatly greatly appreciate it. My quality of life is about zero. I have only left my house to make it to the grocery store in the past 2 1/2 months. I lay on the couch all day. I have to wear sunglasses inside of my house with the shade drawn.

I’m at my wits end.

A day to about 10-15. A lot more screen outs but I will say Ive yet to see another survey site pay you for screen outs and have $5 surveys all the time any thoughts about better sites?

SO FRUSTRATED! Can’t get any help.

Just got back from an orthopedic and explain all my symptoms. Neck pain, neck tightness, light sensitivity, constant dizziness feeling, every thing looks like mild tv static, heart palpitations, brain fog, pressure in my skull. He looks at an X ray and goes yeah those symptoms aren’t coming from your neck. Literally just dismissed the fact that through my eyes it looks like tv static and all the lights are bright. My nervous system is on hyperdrive. And I’m in constant fucking pain. At least he ordered physical therapy. Also my insurance will not pay for an MRI unless there is at least 6 weeks of other treatments.

Secondly anyone ever had one of these?

MEDICAL BRANCH BLOCK AND NEUROTOMY.

They basically go in your neck and with a needle and send radio waves into the nerve killing it??

Vent over thanks folks

My insurance is giving me pushback for MRi!?

Anyone else ran into this issue. The diagnosis is disc disease, degenerative, cervical. How did you get insurance to cover the MRI. They claim they want 6 months of alternative treatments before MRI. My doctor however wants an MRI before starting physical therapy so I’m not damaging the area more if I work it out.
Symptoms: visual snow syndrome(world looks like mild tv static) floaty spacey feeling, neck pain and stiffness, severe brain fog, light sensitivity and nervous system on hyperdrive. I startle at the slightest sound.
Occasional symptoms: my heart races and rumbles hard, tingling sensation in the back of my skull.
The pain is mid all the way to upper neck at base of skull. Looking at screens, driving, and being in stores make it way worse. Some days are better then other but it’s always constant it never goes away. I have to sleep in my right side. Laying on my back or left side hurts. Putting any pressure on it makes it worse.

How do you guys manage the symptoms

Been dealing with this for 3 months. Constant dizziness and light sensitivity, neck pain and vertigo. Brain fog. Anyway beside PT how do you guys treat the symptoms? Anything help at all? I’m going insane. I’m pretty much bed ridden 24/7.
Also how do you work? I can barely think straight.

How did your Cervical Vertigo begin? Injury? Medications?

Hi everyone, this sub has been the most helpful with my situation.
For me I started a new job that involves a lot of lifting secondly I fell and banged my head.

Thats when my heart started pounding, lights seem real bright, vertigo, muscles feel heavy, recovery time sucks, my neck muscles feel tight, I feel disassociated, neck pain, looking up makes it worse, the scariest is when it feels like someone has their hands wrapped around my heart, this is the craziest, worst thing I’ve ever been through.
I’m picking up a neurologist referral today from my pcp.

Has anyone’s ever went away?? Will I get better?

Questions please

Does anyone here feel weak in the legs, like your muscles are heavy, or your heart rumble’s in your chest or your chest gets tight? Also do the lights look bright to you? I tried working out, which I love to do, and the next day my symptoms were way worse

This is intolerable

I wake up every morning and my immediate first thought is, I hope it’s gone today. Within 60 seconds the lights seem real bright, I feel dizzy/vertigo-ish, and at times disassociated. There is no break or relief. If I take NSAIDs it sometimes lessens the symptoms. I’m having a terrible time getting a referral for a neurologist. I woke up 🆙 me day and I was extremely dizzy and disoriented. I went to the ER they gave me fluids and toridal. Been to urgent care once ER 3 times and primary care. I can’t take off of work, it’s ruining my life. I’m depressed, frustrated and at my wits end. Tell me this goes away

3 weeks of this and I’m thinking of suicide

About three weeks ago I was laying down and all of a sudden my chest got really tight and my heart started to pound. My left arm started to tingle and my jaw felt tight. It came and went for the next couple days and I went to the ER. I thought I was having a heart attack. They cleared me. I have been to the ER three times in these three weeks.

The pain is finally settled in the back of my neck at the base of my skull. It’s like a pressure. I am having constant vertigo. My left hand tingles and the back of my skull as well. I am also very dizzy, especially when trying to look at a phone or a television. BUT BY FAR the worst symptom is, I feel disassociated with reality and it’s like there’s an impending doom hanging over me. I keep thinking am I going to die? sometimes when I walk or I move I can hear my neck click a little bit. I haven’t smiled, laughed or had a conversation in these three weeks. I barely make it through work then I come home and lay on the couch. I have a doctors appointment with my primary care next Wednesday at 3 PM. I called a neurologist this morning, but they want a referral.

The pain is one thing, but the constant vertigo and the sense of impending doom with the disassociation is driving me into a dark place.

All of my searching online led me to this Reddit page. Can anyone help me? Please
