​In plain English: Handshake pays non specialists just enough to keep them alive, healthy, and showing up to work (the cost of "maintaining" labor). Everything else the worker creates during their shift beyond that cost is pure, unpaid surplus and that is exactly where profit comes from. Moreso or less HAI will continue to try and cut us down as much as possible to maximize profit by exploiting their workers. This is late stage capitalism.
