Career shift guidance - stay in consulting or be back in Industry (Auto OEM) | India market

I’ve spent 9 years with auto & industrial OEMs in India and then joined Accenture S&C GN Industrial/ Auto practice at the age of 32 at consultant level. I was low balled in terms of designation as I was new to consulting. I came to consulting primarily for the tag and the strategic work. However I realised, industry has more credible work/in depth work than consulting - at least when compared with Accenture GN. I feel consulting good during your early years, but in mid life with family, industry makes more sense.
Now after 3 years I’ve two offers - manager at Big 4 or mid senior level in industry/ auto OEM. Since big 4 offer is from end india consulting I feel it will be a bit more strategic and have better learning. Not sure though. Accenture is also trying to retain matching big 4 offer- but the implementation work I don’t like. Hope big 4 india consulting is strategy and not implementation heavy. And industry is offering a good role approx 7-8% less pay than big 4.
My ultimate goal is to be back in industry- either I can take the industry offer now and grow there or join big 4, gain more experience and then after becoming SM/Director leave for industry at a higher pay, level and strategic role.

Need guidance, whether going to big 4 now, as a manager, at 35 (I’m much behind in consulting vis a vis my age), can considerably improve my exit opportunities? In industry? Will I get higher Kay and strategic role? Or it will decrease my chances?

Also is it wise to leave consulting and be back to industry?
I’ve kids and family, consulting, especially since o joined late, is a bit harsh and I believe with india consulting lot of travel will be there.

Any guidance from people who have made tip his industry / consulting switch will be helpful.

Thanks in advance!

Is VinFast a good employer?

I’ve an offer from VinFast India and wanted to know about the work culture, job security and growth opportunities there. From outside, it seems they are offering a good ctc which I doubt any other OEM in India can March.
Any suggestions or advice will be helpful.

PwC India offer discussion

I’m with Accenture S&C GN in the industrials team with 12 yoe, 34 fixed 9.5 variable.
Have following offer -
PwC india one consulting - customer consulting team - building material and auto as Manager. 44 lacs fixed 35% performance and 5 lacs JB

I have another offer from industry OEM-
AGM strategy & planning - 42.5 lacs fixed, 4.7 lacs variable and 4.3 lacs JB

I’m split whether to leave consulting and be back in industry (I came from industry and since I was fresh into consulting I was low balled in terms of designation).

Need suggestion on -

  1. What to opt consulting or industry

  2. What is the average yearly hike and performance pay % in PwC

  3. Within manager what are the different levels, o was told that with the package offered it must be higher band of manager and promotion should be faster to next level.

  4. In how many years I can expect promotion to SM

  5. Any other perks for M grade

  6. How is the travel requirement? Frequency?

  7. Do managers have to manage multiple projects simultaneously?

Since I have to make a call very soon, any insights will help. Thanks
