The most inpatient dragon!

The most inpatient dragon!

This was him an hour after he ate. But let me tell you he is so inpatient when it’s feeding time. He snatched his big leaf of collard green, I was in the middle of tearing it up for him and he snatched it out of my hand! I had to snatch it back out of his mouth! My boy! Hold on! Dang!

Recently changed his bug feeding to every other day now that he’s over 80g

But the one thing I have questioned is if he’s filled out enough. He’s round when he’s flat. But is skinnier when he’s active. It makes me question if he’s eating enough. I give him 6-7 bugs on his bug day, but still give him 2-3 on his non bug days. He eats his greens all day long as long as I refill his bowl.

Has anyone used petcos standing stones decor? Why did these black lines appear?

This is not moisture or anything. But these black lines appeared this evening. Nothing was spilled in that area too and he was not near his water bowl today. They were never there before and I have used them for over a month. I was redecorating and relocating these stones last night and I inspected every one of them to make a structurally sound platform for my beardie, these showed up this afternoon noon!

Don’t know how reliable Google is

But a transformer blew and the whole street is without power. It is currently reaching 80 degrees F in my house and no light to keep my dragon warm. Since we had storms here in Illinois all generators and power banks are sold out at my local Menards and Lowe’s. I need a backup plan that my dragon can still be comfortable with minimal stress. But Google and other sources are saying to leave him in his enclosure and will be okay without power. He is not happy right now.

Just got home from the gym and caught him trying to touch the lamp, no he actually can’t reach it but has gotten close. Going to get him his adult tank soon.

Newly hatched and weighing approximately 2 chicken nuggets, the infant dragon immediately assumes command of the enclosure. Experts are unsure whether this behavior signals dominance… or simply dramatic personality.

Getting ready for a new tank!

We just got some new climbing stuff for him and is trying it out before we merge to a bigger tank. But I’m questioning if the uvb lamp is too close. He hasn’t tried to mess with the lamps, but this is a new height for him. Trying to get a new 4x2x2 tank soon.

What feeding chart should I go by as my bearded dragon is over 40g? He is taking greens willingly now with some favorites.

Help on feeding based on weight?

So my beardy is now 45g after a BM as of today. He is eating his veggies willingly now, his favorites being frilly mustard greens with carrots every so often. We switched to bok choy, yesterday and have been mixing it with his greens to see how he would like it. But confused by feeding charts as I see some outdated ones, I just want to know if I should cut back on his Dubai roaches.

He has grown so big these last 2 months I had him. Some comparison photos. He’s as big as his bowl now. ❤️
