I plan to buy EU4, do I need the DLCs to make it playable?

After the previous post of mine and some reading I decided to buy Eu4 as it is the best for my system and it looks like Eu5 is still some time off.

My question is do I need any DLC or something to make it playable or does the base game have enough to be playable without making it annoying or stupid.

Also on a side note I plan to get Vic3 if I end up with enough so must have DLCs for that would be great.

What should I but CK3 or EU5 or VIC3?

I recently bought HOI4 and am getting my rear kicked cause I am trash at it. I am learning though.

But that aside, I want to buy another game only one cause I am not rich enough to buy more then one at a time.

From what I can tell, CK3 is more of a dinastly/empire builder with political drama and a lot wars. Where as VIC3 is more of a trade and internal problem fixer thing with war and stuff present but not the main focus. And EU5 as a middle ground with aspects of both.

Is this assumption of mine is right then please recommend one of these my requirments is simple

  • I want a state builder with both eco, a little bit of politics and wars and deplo stuff. All relatively balanced, nothing being more important then the other.
  • I want them to have depth, like I mean decisions matter, like I cannot have a parliament and still have serfdom on top, cause make it make sense. Like stuff like this is general to where my actions as the player matter.
  • I want the one that is least euro-centric. I am an INDIAN so I want to once I have some hrs into the fame play in my own region which historically speaking until the colonial era and the technological difference was made absolute, INDIA was more important along with the middle east and China then what ever was happening in Europe. Like in terms of economic output and things happening in these regions was more conciquential for Europe to matter later on.

Also I am not looking for one that is the best in terms if bugs or glitchs cause the last two are relatively new compared to CK3 so not really a fair comparison.

Also and the that is playable in the base game, no DLC needed to be playable thing, cause again I am poor.

Also the on which is most kind to potato PCs.

From everything I know EU5 makes more sense then the rest in terms of the gameplay I am thinking of but sense I haven't seen much even in terms of YT content, I am here asking for help.

Are these good for my second time making these?

One thing, the tank one is not final. I plan to have medium and heavy tank destroyers. Also I will have the doctrain that gives the most org so it will be over 30 for sure.
The infantry one is an all purpose one for both holding the line and pushing it.
And the horses are port and island garasans.

What are the basic rules for divisions? Both making and using them.

I am completely new and just got my rear handed to my by the axis in Europe in the Pacific I am doing much better cause nothing is batten the having 12carrier groups and god knows how many subs totally recking the Japanese economy.

I want to know what makes a division good for offence or defense.
I know how the combat width system works, but I am lost on designing my divisions.

Also I know the tarrian workings as well, cause it does not take a genius to figure out tanks kill on plains while get killed in mountains or rivers.

What should I use for power till I get RTGs?

I am a new player and want to know what I can relay on for power.

I have been running a few numbers and reading some stuff.

From what I can gather, the solar power depends on the level of the sun on a given planet. Higher the sun level more power.
But I am not sure which one to use, the medium or large.

For wind I am not really sure. Does the level of planet make the wind mills more better or does the planets wind level just means that it's windy more often.
Also from basic number being running, the small ones seem to beat the large one in terms of cost and space. But should I use the medium one as well??

One last thing, where should I build by main base. I am going below one of those purple thingy, but which one. I thinks the poles are better cause the sun will be out all the time if not most of the time.

Hello.
I am writing a reincarnation story with the Classical Era as a setting, with the story taking place in the India of that world.

I am not here to promote it or anything but I need helps with maps.

If there is a place where I can find consistent maps, for like region names, settlements and borders like that. I would be great.

I basically want the general information, like what the region was called the important population and trade centers and forts for military use.

Then it would be great to get something similar for trade and what the places produces in terms of agriculture and manufactured goods.

I have tried AI tool, but they are so frustraing to work with, like a simple task like taking taking to regions and stiching them together gets me results that as a small history and geography nerd makes me what to clean my eyes with acid.

I have tried just regular search, but the amount of searching I need to do from something good is painful, like looking up stuff for Rome or China is easy, but for India, I would be lucky to find two what I need without it being super messy or low resolution.

Also on a side note a free software to make maps would also be appreciated.

So please help me with this.
And thank you for reading and responding.
