I just got a crested gecko about 4 days ago but he has yet to leave the floor of his tank. I have a lot of foliage up there and a humid hide as well. For those who had similar issues how long did it take for your gecko to start climbing up into the canopy.

I just got a crested gecko and he’s been sleeping for most of the day which I heard is expected for a newly acquired geckos, but I also heard that my lighting could be an issue. In my room, it gets pitch black or bright depending when the lights is on, so I was wondering if the LEDs I have installed if I put them to white would be helpful for it(the picture is at daytime but it was as dark as I could get the room)
