Steam Deck Splitscreen in 2026?

Tried using the AlphaRing mod but that seems to be out of date. Anyone know of a current method to use splitscreen on Steam Deck?

PT2 Backlight Discoloration Issue: Pebble support says this is consistent across all PT2 devices

I noticed shortly after receiving my Pebble Time 2 that when the backlight illuminated a white background, there were some discoloration "artifacts". The backlight appears to be slightly redder in some areas and slightly bluer in others.

I reached out to Pebble support to request a replacement device but they denied my request claiming any replacement device would "have the same RGB artifacts".

I haven't seen anyone else with this issue so I'm posting this to ask my fellow PT2 purchasers if their devices have this issue or not.

Is this thermal paste pattern good for LGA1700?

Having some temp issues on my i7-13700K with a Scythe Mugen 5 rev.B air cooler and Claude says my paste pattern is causing air gaps which is the likely cause of my issues. Wanted to get some opinions from human beings.

I've been dealing with a very unique hearing issue in my left ear for about 7 years.

At certain times, often exacerbated by congestion and high blood pressure, certain frequencies cause a buzzing sound in my left ear overlaid on top of the sound. It's almost akin to hearing someone over a walkie talkie where you can hear what they're saying but there's heavy radio static/buzz on top of what they're saying.

It's not painful but it causes quite a bit of discomfort depending on the severity and how constant I'm hearing those frequencies in my environment. I can physically feel the buzzing in my ear so rather than experiencing pain, it's more like getting overstimulated. It also tickles my ear lending to the feeling of overstimulation.

It's mostly triggered by music and people talking, especially when watching movies/TV or eating at a restaurant.

I've seen three ENTs in the last 5 years and the first two said it was likely some form of eustachian tube dysfunction and the most recent one (who is an ear specialist) said it's Hyperacusis.

I've had two eustachian tube balloon procedures and after the first one I stopped experiencing symptoms for about a year before they slowly returned, ramping up in severity. The second procedure only helped for about two weeks before my symptoms returned.

During the first procedure, I also had my deviated septum corrected, adenoids removed, and turbinates shrunk, so maybe that also played a factor in why my symptoms went away for so long. Like I said before, the less congested I am, the less frequently I experience any buzzing symptoms.

I'm skeptical about the Hyperacusis diagnosis based on descriptions of common symptoms. Do any of you have similar symptoms to mine? Happy to share additional details.
