First time BBT journey

First time BBT journey

Hi!

This is my first time tracking BBT. I know I am supposed to take it the same time each morning which im doing my best at! Usually anywhere from 5:30am-6:30am, just depending on which alarm I wish to wake up at.

Just noticing the dip today and naturally I have a few questions.

  1. Did I ovulate? The dip is scaring me. I went into copilot and they said something about a “fall back rise” in which it said that this is pretty normal for a lot of people.

  2. How much of a difference does it really make when reading BBT. It was the weekend and I planned on sleeping in a lot longer, but my husband accidentally set his alarm to his week day alarm: 530am. I was so out of it I just said “screw it” and fell back to sleep. I woke up around 45minutes later to feed my cats but before I event got up I just took my BBT, which resulted in the drop.

Just need to talk to someone that’s not a “yes ma’am bot”

TIA

Hi everyone,

I (F32),believe I just experienced an anovulatory cycle last month (right now I’m CD5) and I’m so confused, discouraged, and sad.

TW: miscarriage// D&C

I’ve been on my TTC journey for what feels like forever. My first try with my husband (M32) after getting off birth control for 15+ years and then off the copper IUD for 4 months, I fell pregnant. We were so scared but exited.

Long story short I had a MMC at 10weeks, had to go for a D&C at the end of November, and then had to go in for another D&C due to a the first surgery being a failed D&C in February.

I finally got my cycle back in February, have been TTC since then. I’ve had 2 successful LH surges and egg white CM. This last cycle was different. Never got egg white CM. I was tracking my LH religiously, up to 5 times a day at one point, and my highest jump was” .67”— I use the Wondfo tests. And nothing. I spotted 3 (CD26-28) days before my usual aunt flow comes, and my “period” (CD28 Evening) lasted 5 days total.

I’m ready to start the process again this cycle but I’m so stressed because I want to get a successful LH surge and ovulate. Could this have been a one time thing? Like my body just did a mild hiccup and it could be back on track this month? I was moderately stressed last month but not to the point of complete breakdown. I’m healthy as a nut, no history of any reproductive issues/ health concerns.

Has anyone else had a one time anovulatory cycle and got right back on schedule the next month?

TIA!
