Sunsets from 2018

One of the best sunsets I have ever witnessed. These are raw photos and that's how beautiful they are. 💙

PS: Photos are just 2 minutes apart.

Do you guys believe in right time, right person?

Hey everyone!

I have been single for I think more than 2 years now. Since last year, I have started putting myself out through dating apps as I just moved across the country and my social circle isn't really huge. It was the easiest option for me as I don't really wanna date anyone from work.

During my first time in creating the app, I was too scared to meet anyone, I was not sure if I have fully moved on from my almost 6-year situationship (lol) or maybe I'm just too scared to meet someone I barely know in a city I just moved to. Eventually got tired of the apps and deleted it.

This year, I created an account again. I feel more confident and willing to do meet-ups. I kinda regret not meeting the guys I have met during my first sign-up on the apps. I dated a guy for two months. He was very persistent, wanted to keep seeing me almost everyday to which I agreed to, and around 2-3 weeks into dating he told me he loves me which really overwhelmed me. I told him if we could slow down to which he agreed but after more than 2 months of dating, I felt ready to commit. When I told him, he suddenly told me he's no longer ready for a relationship but wants me to keep around. I didn't agree. I knew better this time and so I ended it. I kinda felt sad about it but I easily moved on. There's no way I'm gonna let anyone treat me like that again. I felt like there was a switch in me that just suddenly turned off and left.

After a few weeks I went back on apps. I just feel like I have so much love to give but there is nowhere for it to go. Eventually got tired of the apps again and deleted it. It felt like that's not the right place for me. I never really believed in the apps. I've wanted to meet someone organically but I'm still establishing hobbies. Part of me thinks and believes that maybe the right person will only come at the right time. The apps are probably not the right place cause all I see there are the people who is I know I wouldn't want to be with and that I would just try to bend my non-negotiables just to try. Because that's what dating is all about. But the guy I dated was the proof that I might be trying too hard, that I will only find the wrong people in there.

At this point of my life, I already know what I want and what kind of person I would want to be with and I am very firm about it. Sometimes I think I'm too much of an idealist to think that all I'm looking for will be there, but at the same time I am hopeful and optimistic that it is still possible.

Sorry for this long post! I just wanted to let it out!! Lol.

Solo Travel

Heyy, I'm 31 F, Asian. I'll be doing my first solo trip this August and I'm feeling excited but nervous at the same time. I've been residing in Melbourne for 3 years already and wanted to explore other states. I'll be riding a train to Sydney (just because I really want to experience this) and will be flying to Hobart afterwards.

For my Sydney trip, I would generally be relying to their Public Transportation as I have already researched ways on how to go on places.

For my Hobart Trip, I would be very dependent on group tours as I prefer just sitting on a bus and enjoy rather than driving. Maybe if I come back here I'll rent a car. 😂

Are there things that I should be aware and careful of?

Thank you! 😊

Hobart Trip this August

Hello!

I'm planning to have a trip to Hobart around 8th-11th of August. I am thinking of either renting a car or doing group tours. So far the locations I am planning to make an itinerary are:

  1. Salamanca Market
  2. Mount Wellington
  3. MONA
  4. Battery Point
  5. Richmond
    6 Tasman Island Cruise

Any recommendations?

Thanks!!
