What is about the Royal house of Lusignan?

What is about the Royal house of Lusignan?

While the kingdom of Cyprus ceased to exist in the 15th century, there's this website https://www.houseoflusignan.org/ claiming its legacy, which I found accidentally when I was looking into the crusader history.

Looks like a historical study website to me than a real-world organisation. But I am ignorant on this subject, and I am looking for more information.

Both AoE 2 and AoE 3 have a curious design for the Chinese civilization concerning the Ming dynasty.

TL;DR: Both games feature a Chinese civilization design set (or at least partly) in the Ming dynasty, but neither actually actually does.

For AoE2, the History section states that they want to represent medieval China up to 1644, and the Ming dynasty appears in the Vietnamese, Burmese, and Korean campaigns. However, the civ design of the Chinese clearly represents the Song dynasty, which heavily relies on archery as its primary weaponry, not to mention that the Chinese does not have cannoneers and bombards.

For AoE3, the Chinese campaign is literally based on Zheng He’s voyage, which was a Ming naval expedition of the 15th century. However, as you all know, AoE3’s China is actually based on the Qing dynasty (a Manchu dynasty), featuring the banner system and Kangxi (Xuanye Aisin Gioro) as the Chinese leader.

Ironically, the Jurchen civ design really fits the Ming vibe. Both the Jurchen and the historical Ming possessed strong cavalry, gunpowder weapons, naval units, and formidable fortifications. In addition, the Jurchen have one of the most complete tech trees of any civ. This well represents the Chinese technological lead before the Renaissance.

Any AI equivalence of ELO 1200 or higher player?

Hi, I am looking forward to play with smarter A.I. without resources cheat.

On ranked games, I am a 1300~1400 Elo player and I can beat 3 extreme AIs in smaller maps.

I think extreme AI is like 1000 elo player in early games and 1100 if fully boomed.

Currently I am looking for stronger ai to play with, any suggestions?

Hi, friends.
I want to know while supporting mornarchism, do you also support or go against hereditary nobility?

IMO, hereditary nobility/ aristocracy is NOT a good social institution.
While king & queen could be the symbol or metaphor of the country as a big family where heirs inherit the legacy, nobility class do not bear such function.

Quality of personality, wisdom, willpower are not inheritable. Born in a good family gurantees nothing. I believe in a meritocracy in which people should earn their titles and honours through hard work.

What's your opinion?

---

Sorry for the typo in the title. Also, I want to stress that I am not against nobility as honourary titles or social recognition, such as life peerage in England, but rather I do not think noble titles and position should be inheritable.
