Help me prepare for ABC as a first timer

Heya all! So finally my long term wish to go for trekking is about to be ticked, we four friends are planning our first trek to ABC in November 2026 with the Trek The Himalayas ( TTH ) organisation. I have few doubts in mind

We are choosing a very ambitious trek as our first one and we wanna be fully prepared from our side at least - things which are in our circle of control - body endurance, stamina, breath control, strength and resistance, knowing the trail, shutting down the ego that I've to climb the BC anyhow

For the physical part - we're maximizing our cardio at the gym apart from strength training - currently treadmilling at 20° / 5 speed / 30 min with 8 kg Bagpack on shoulders / Legs Workout / Core workout / Farmers Walk / Stairmaster - 2500-3000 steps with same bagpack / uphill and downhill movement

For breath control - Mindfulness practices, Deep Breathing, three rounds of breath practice, Spirometer

Apart from physically - what can I prepare for? Forgot to mention, I'm an Ex-Smoker , smoked for 1.5 years and left it a couple of weeks back

Since we still have 120 days - how do we at least stand a chance that we complete and reach BC

New to collection : YSL Black Opium EDP intense | Marketed as women's fragrance but smells incredible on men!

Now I've smelled tons of sweet gourmand scents : Khamra, Aoud Cafe, Coco Vanille, Intense Cafe, ristretto intense cafe, Greedy chocolate but most of these scents are on edible experience whereas I feel Opium is more of creating an atmospheric experience

The opening is kinda crazy - almost boozy vibe but slightly bitter and this makes the opening kinda mature and it's honestly amusing to smell. This was my first fragrance that has 'Absinthe' as a note.

After 20-30 min you get the coffee and more like sweet coffee and jasmine too in the background. It is this part where the gourmand experience starts and it gets very bittery-sweety-café. After couple of hours - everything settles down into a nice addictive intimate cloud.

For this - I roughly get around 7-8 hours of performance - Strong and noticeable for first few hours and settles after that. Sillage wise moderate not room filling. Best for cool evenings and outings and pubs.

I think this fragrance is underrated because people see the Black Opium name and assume it's just another sweet gourmand. The Intense version feels darker, moodier, and more interesting than that.

As a male wearing Black Opium Intense, the vibe is actually quite different from what many people expect when they hear "Black Opium." A lot of guys avoid it because it's marketed toward women. But if you ignore the marketing and focus on the scent itself, it gives off a very interesting energy. It doesn't smell feminine in the stereotypical sense. It smells dark coffee, creamy woods and some vanilla!

Got my first tattoo and it's something so close to my heart | Endurance and Hope

Semicolon represents Resilience and hope and continuity

Butterfly speaks of transformation and growth

All of these ideas are very personal to me as after my downfall till 2022 I've endured through pain and I had this cringy hope that I can change my life and I did eventually! I grew out of my lazy ass and got in a very stable position now.

I like how the tattoo is simple and clean!

Newbiee in tattoo world and needs advice 🙃

I am new to the tattoo world and I wanna make my first tattoo, a semicolon on either wrist or outer forearm or at the part where pain tolerance is high 🥲

I was thinking about going to Ink splatter and I wanna know how safe the studio is and what quality work they do. Also how painful is the process in general - I can't handle needle pain much 🥲

Elegance and Musk | Ajmal White Oud

So was strolling around the city mall and found an Ajmal kiosk and it was my first time trying any scents of Ajmal - I had heard a lot about Kuro/Silver Shade. I did try them and found them to be okaish but then the guy planted me their latest release - White Oud.

Now it's not very out of the box scent - the bottle and presentation itself is very basic and minimalistic but the vibe of the scent is something that catches immediate attention. Opens with very flowery floral notes and musky scent.

Imagine wearing proper white formals and the scent that goes with it - something clean and basic and very light - not overpowering at all. That's what White Oud is. Though I didn't get any oud in it or maybe my newbie nose couldn't catch it but I bought it instantly for it's powdery/floral vibes.

Later in the evening when I went for my haircut and sprayed roughly 7-8 puffs on my shirt - I got my first compliment from it from my hairstylist ( she never complimented me despite me wearing paradise garden/sauvage/Valentino/Dylan 🙃). And people will like this because it's not something that causes a headache or even feels heavy.

The downside of course is the longevity. Around 3 hours max I would catch it today - maybe with maceration it will improve.

Overall a good buy I can say - an all season fragrance!
