Do I really need to replace both fron tires?

Just been to the garage because of a slow puncture in one of the rear tires and they told me both front tires are done for and need replacing. I know nothing about tires and they would have realised that, so I have no idea if they're just trying their luck or if I just need new tires. They also suggested second hand tires which I thought was a bit weird?

Second hand car bought ca 16 months ago.

Edit: Thanks everyone. Just went back to the garage and got it done. Guys were exceptionally nice, said I look like 28 and gave me cold water, so part of me still thinks they took the mickey! Joking, glad it's done.

Cordless wall lamp recommendations?

I have a lovely living room with a convenient grand total of 1 sockets!

Looking for recommendations for cordless wall lamps (battery operated or similar). Ideally not too modern in style, maybe with a small shade or similar. Not the slick narrow vertical ones.

I see a lot of ads pop up online for these sort of lamps but everything I then look up has questionable reviews and sounds a bit scammy...

Does anyone know of any good retailers for this by any chance? Thank you!

School uniform question: summer dresses

I've excitedly bought a range of checked summer dresses for my little one starting school in September.

Now my husband says he believes the summer uniform options are reserved for the summer term only, i.e. April - July.

The uniform options are listed as "winter" and "summer" on the website. I took this to mean it's basically whichever you consider weather appropriate?
