Restrictor, or leave it
A little hard to film/see, but I just switched to this expansion tank/swirl pot setup and I’m wondering if this much flow from the steam ports/top of the radiator is normal?
Essentially the setup is, this tank feeds into the water pump via the heater core line (no heater core, it’s a ls swapped e36 drift car) and the fitting on the top is where the 4 corner steam port kit, as well as the bleed fitting off the top of the radiator feeds in to.
I’m wondering if this is an excessive amount of flow into the top of this tank, or if that is fine as it’s a sealed system and it’ll just help bleed off air?
Previously I only had the front two steam ports venting into the top of the water pump, so I had know way of knowing how much water would flow out of those vents
I’m thinking maybe I just need the restrictor right off the radiator bleed nipple, not the steam ports?
