What are the odds of a failed termination after 6mos?

I (27) had an abortion Dec 3rd, 2025. Thank to this group and support I got thru it even being in another country for vacation. Well, around 1am this morning my bf and we’re having sex, and immediately after, I had a sharp shooting pain in my cervix, abdomen and pains that would shoot into my butt. I make myself go to sleep in hopes it goes way… 4am and the pains wake me up. I try to walk to the bathroom and it was too painful. I woke up my boyfriend to help me and we make it. I sit on the toilet and for the life of me couldn’t relax my muscles to pee. It took awhile but eventually did. After going back to the room, I called the ER line for my insurance and the nurse advised I come to the ER… Here we are. I have the CT done, negative pregnancy test (thank God), however, I eventually go to get an US done and the tech is asking valid questions but opened up that old wounds. She suspects that my uterus may have left over product from the termination??? But I don’t think so because I’ve been on my BC and regular period that last 5 days since the termination completed. I thought “failed”/incomplete abortions are found shortly after the initial procedure. In my case, medical. I recently saw my Gyn last week and said everything was good. Do incomplete abortion happen this far out?

What is the next step?

I'm 27F and I work for a major health group based in NY. I currently make 26/hr as an AR specialist. Prior to the merger, I was in medical billing and worked with Workers Comp and No Fault. I loved it! Since the Merge, I was dumped into AR with Insurances and HATE IT. I can't understand the denial or the unnecessary appeals that are pushed from the managers knowing that certain codes will not be paid, especially when it's explicitly written in these insurance guidelines. Anyway, the point of my post is, for any medical billers/coders, have you found being certified actually worth it? Or was the majority of what you learned and taught on your own in training?

The plus side to my company is that if I go to a vocational school that offers the program, the company will reimburse 80% of it once completed and passed. Recently I was speaking to an assistant director from a different company who also works in medical billing and stated that the program is useless because guidelines are changing every year. (Totally aware of that too). I personally think that I make okay money for someone who doesn't have their associates... a work in progress after all these years to say the least... Lives on their own on Long Island and work remote. I want to learn more and earn more of course. It took. me 5 years to get to this position and I think i've done a good job so far moving my way up the ladder.

I can't look at too much of the option of changing companies because maybe in many eyes, my pay is mid, but I work from home, have good health insurance, pretty good PTO and weekends off. I feel like that's an even trade off if I may say so myself.

Any feedback is GREATLY appreciated! Thanks :)

Need to get back on track

27F who had VSG in 9/2024. My lowest was 215 and the last 3 months has been kicking me in the butt. I lost my 5am routine due to moving and been eating like a pig omg. Not a lot but definitely junk/fast food. I honestly think I’ve gained 10/15lbs. After the move I had to take, I think life I finally more steady where I can soon get back to the gym but how can I get back on track with eating? Life got in the way and changed so much. I hate how I look. Everyone says I look fine but I see my stomach getting bigger again. Lord, any advice is appreciated

Learning to leave my dog alone again.

So I have a 2yr Pitbull/Standard Poodle mix, a “Pitpoo” as I call her. I recently moved and I can’t seem to leave her alone like I used to. She’s house trained and all but I can’t figure out how to get her to stop crying and barking at my new apartment when I have to come into work. I can’t even go to the gym. I come to work 2x a month, previously, before the move it was every other day. Should I keep her in her crate again and “retrain” her? Or invest in a trainer?

VSG to SADI

I’m 27f, HW: 298, CW 215. I had VSG 9’24 and day of surgery was 278. So my weightloss has gone well. In my lost visit, my doctor suggested I would be a good candidate for the SADI rather than going on a WLM. His reasoning is that since the surgery, my BW has been really good. No deficiencies anywhere except Vitamin D (I work from home and use to only work inside). Otherwise, he mention that one the common side effects is diarrhea and I believe SEVERE malnutrition???? Maybe I misheard that part. I’m considering it bc I’ve been at 215 for a year!! Up 5lbs here and there but no more than 220. I’ve changed diets, gym routine, everything and just plateaued. The doctor said my body has basically done everything it needed with the VsG. For those who have done, how do you feel now? Do you wish you had stayed with the VSG and tried harder? What does your diet look like now?
