Every single topic I think about, wether theoretical or "self-evident" always boils down to one answer - nothing makes sense. If I doubt judgement how am I to judge anything? How can I certainly know what I perceive mentally or physically is real? How am I supposed to make any true conclusion to anything I talk about? I keep hitting the same dead end in everything I try to think of. I used to be able to think and solve metaphysical questions for hours on end until I think my claim is as true as it can get. Is there any other way I am able to solve questions other than "true" or "false" to get out of this void of uncertainty? I get clowned on every time I talk about this w/ the people around me. Am I just crazy or thinking about this wrong?
Any places in Kansas City that show how to make a knife through stock removal? Really want to learn but dont know where to start. I have the almost all the machines to make knives from past creations but i cant find any youtube videos or lessons to actually show me. Anyone know any good websites or videos to go off of?
Hello, i have a Recording King 20 (RK20) banjo and dont know where to start. I love old folk and bluegrass but i think clawhammer or 2-finger would be the easiest to start with. I absolutely love doc watson and want to play some of his songs/reiterations of songs like Naomi Wise, Miss the Mississippi and You, and orphan girl. I want to learn other pieces of music so I can get a rythm and be able to freestyle in the future. I know doc watson uses a mixture of both old folk and bluegrass. I also know old folk isnt usually played with a resonator, would it still sound fine? I dont know wether i should get picks or not. I have slight tremors in my hands which is incredibly annoying when fingerpicking but i plan on fixing them soon. Anyone have recommendations on videos or what i should focus on? Theres so much variations of music and ways to play it seems infinite!
Anyone selling a Recording King RK20 banjo? Preferably in excellent condition or better. I really want to start learning and dont want to buy another anytime soon and have heard this is the best option!
