Can anyone ID this acoustic

Got this debadged acoustic from a yard sale over a year ago, then got a nice electric a day later and rarely ever played this one. Never changed, replaced or repaired anything but the set up is actually very comfortable and I've never had to retune it before playing. I think the stamp on the inside says "1988 6 12" implying it was made on June 8th, 1988.

Guys i need help

Send help please,

I'm an intermediate tenor saxophone player. I'm not amazing at the instrument yet, I'd say I'm pretty average but, I practice every single day because I genuinely want to improve.

First, what should I be studying and practicing every day to become a better saxophonist? I'm looking for exercises, techniques, and anything else that would help me improve faster.

Second, I'm thinking about starting an Instagram page with a series called "Day 1 of Trying to Become Decent at the Saxophone." The idea is to upload a video every day where I practice on camera, talk about my struggles, share unpopular opinions about music, and document my progress over time.

Would you watch or support a page like that? I'm also planning to buy an iPhone 13 Pro because the camera and microphone quality are still really good for content creation.

(Sorry if my English isn't perfect it's not my first language)

What is this bamboo flute? Two mouth holes, one looks hand cut.

I thought it might be a Brazilian side flute but the slit underneath makes no sense. Maybe this was a deliberate cut made by someone? It has two mouth holes and 6 finger holes. There’s splits around the second hole.

The design on it looks a bit Japanese not Brazilian, overall it looks a bit cheap and touristy.

Found it in a thrift store. I posted this in r/whatisthisthing and mods said post it here

Help me to price my guitar for selling

I have an Epiphone DC Pro in red that I want to sell. I've had it for about 4 years and can't vibe with the thicker neck anymore. Got a few dings and superficial rust on the hardware but nothing functional or major issues. I've done some things like a professional setup in D standard and replaced the pickups with vintage Dimarzio super distortions, so it sounds great and plays very well. The pickups were £100 each and others have the stock guitar up for sale used for anything between £400-£500. I tried to high ball it at £645 due to the upgrades but not getting much interest yet.

I'm aware some people may just want the guitar in standard tuning with the stock pickups, so I am putting in the description that we can arrange something. I don't really want to go to the effort of trying to sell the pickups on their own and resetting the guitar as it will cost extra money with no guarantee someone will buy the pickups. My suggestion so far to the one person who messaged me was, I can get a quote for the setup and then take it off the final price but they will have to do it themselves. Then they can sell the pickups or keep them for extra money.

What is more likely to work with the lowest effort? Sell as it is but reduce the price to something like £550 or less, or just suck it up and change it back to stock and sell the pickups individually?

Why are children's toy "xylophones" even called that, when technically they're glockenspiels?

Using a picture of a Little Tikes xylophone as my reference.

Most toy xylophones are made of metal, not wood. A true xylophone is made of wood, right? So why don't they just call it like it is and just call it "toy glockenspiel"?

The only toy company I've seen make a toy xylophone that's actually wooden is Baby Einstein.

Help with upper register

My highest note is a C (1st finger high C), and i cant go any higher. I've tried looking at tons of videos that just say "more air, tighter lips" but all that happens is i make some weird sounds. I can sometimes reach a high D, but very rarely, any tips on going higher?

What's that instrument playing in this Snail House song???

I'm looking to compose a track of my own using the instrument that goes "Bow" (or "meow"?) at 1:13 to 1:49 in the linked track. If anyone more well knowledged with music could identify and tell me this instrument that'd be helpful. I'm thinking it might be a bass of some sort but no matter how much I fiddle around I don't know which digital one to use to get this specific sound

A new, entirely improvisational, album.... by The JJ's!

https://thejjs1.bandcamp.com/album/came-from

A new, entirely improvisational, album by The JJ's! We are a Boston Based collective of artists seeking to explore raw expression. Soon we will record some more rehearsed music, and become boring old farts in the process. Our first show is 6/18, we are opening for techno DJ sets in Southie, (halogengirls3000 on instagram for details)

Anyways, we greatly appreciate anyone who checks this stuff out. The first song has spoken word by David House Jr, reciting an original poem. his instagram is ImpureQueso.

Considering learning Ukulele

Hi folks,

I’ve been considering learning ukulele for a while.

I’m an introvert who loves music and I feel like playing an instrument would really make me feel happy.

Is it beginner friendly? I’ve no experience in learning any form of music.

Also how to start? Which one to buy? How to learn?

Please give your suggestions. Thank you!!
