Hi kinda freaking out right now because I have to pick my daughter up from daycare in 4 hours. I have an 07 chevy tahoe 5.3L V8 and got a dashboard message this morning “Engine hot A/C turned off” along with my gauge moving. Started at 210 and thats where it normally sits and then it goes all the way up to the 220-240/50 area. Is this a coolant issue?? I ordered Dexcool because thats what google said and plan to look at it once car cools. I also want to mention, when I got home and got out after the car was shut off I heard like a hissing noise or like air was being released coming from my hood?? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated — I do not have anyone in my life to help with this as my father passed away so please be kind ☺️
