Uncut just feels better when being penetrated
It’s the skin that gives it a smooth, gliding motion. I love it. Cut dicks feel a little…rough.
Does anyone get the sense of how lonely this field is?
Think about it. You spend years in undergrad grinding away at difficult CS classes. When you’re employed, most of the work is done by yourself, sometimes remote even when you’re not in an office. And then you have to grind LeetCode and personal projects on your own to climb the ladder.
I think I was much more outgoing and extroverted in high school. Over the years, I slowly became more and more introverted and maybe even more neurotic because of my education and career. Of course, I still make the effort to date, have friendships, and travel and other enriching activities. But the underlying feeling is the same.
Does anyone else feel the same?

What is the endgame here?
I’m talking about the US. Where there’s rampant layoffs. Where your health insurance is tied to your job. Where rent is astronomical. Where the job market is SO bad that it’s likely you’re going to run out of your measly state unemployment checks. Recruiters ghost left and right and make you feel absolutely insane. Preparing for interviews like your life depends on it because you don’t know when the next one will be.
It just seems like everything here is set up to make you fail and hit rock bottom. Living here is like living out of fear. And I am SICK of it. I never thought I’d have to worry about this, being 25 and being employed as an engineer for 3 years, with an undergrad and grad degree, and ample savings. But here I am.
Places for a single gay man to move to
I’m 26 and I work in technology as a software engineer. I’m looking to move to a place that is more vibrant than where I currently live in New England. This place is kind of a dead end when it comes to my career and dating. All the men here are too old for my taste (look up the median age of New Hampshire!), or it’s just a bunch of married boomers keeping to their own social circles.
I’m looking for a place to catapult my career and not have to worry about driving obscene distances if I ever get laid off. As an example, the only “real” tech market here is in Boston, and it’s a nightmare to commute to from NH. Remote jobs are pretty scarce so I cannot bet on that. I don’t want to live in Boston either.
Also, some place where it is a bit easier to make friends and date. I’m quite social, but I consider myself an ambivert. I’ll admit, I love the directness and genuineness of people in New England. I like people who are kind and follow through with plans. I’ve found that other “tech bros” are quite insufferable, neurotic, and just not easy to get along with. So a good diversity of people would be nice.
And nature. I like to be surrounded by beautiful scenery and not living in a concrete jungle.
Did anyone else have to move for a job?
I was laid off a few months ago. Where I live (Northern MA), it’s either 1. A lack of jobs 2. Everyone is a robotics company where they want a niche skill set. I tried my luck applying to companies in the Boston area, and they didn’t want me either (Klaviyo, Chewy, Whoop, Cargurus, the “bigger” companies around here). Ive been working in full-stack and backend for 5 years now, and these were the type of jobs I was applying for.
I tried my luck applying to jobs in Seattle for a while and, omg, it was a much better experience. Less ghosting, more response rates, better job opportunities, and I even got two offers. Maybe I was just lucky. Maybe Boston is trash now for tech jobs. Or maybe Boston just didn’t want me, lol. Did anyone else have better luck applying out-of-state?
