Does anyone know if there is an assisted living place that offers day trips or activities to non-residents for a fee? We have recently decided to have my mother-in-law live with us. She is physically healthy but has early onset dementia. I looked into the Center for Active Living, and their offerings require more independence than she is capable of. My Mom had a horrible experience at The Mount, (Providence) so we want to avoid that place. Thanks!

Amazing film, after waiting through 30 minutes of previews and ads I was still able to sit through the film without getting restless. But, why, why AMC, do you have 30 minutes of ads and previews? Why should I drive to your theater, pay money for a ticket, only to sit through Coke, Amazon and AMC commercials? When the final ad came with Nicole Kidman and the tagline, AMC - We make movies better - I literally laughed out loud.

I am looking into hiring an employment attorney. I filled out three inquiry forms at three different law firms in my city. An intake specialist called from one with further questions, but we haven't connected. Another sent an email naming a lawyer who might take the case after a $600 consultation fee for an hour-long conversation. Is that normal? I also have no idea if that lawyer is worth the initial expense. Is there a way to find out if they are worth it? thanks
