PS3 software trouble (I guess…?)

Hello there! I have a PS3 fat and I just bought a second hand “The Last of Us”. Well, when I launch the game, Play Station says that I need to upgrade the software to get the access and use the software (I suppose the game software?) version 1.11.

So I just go on, Play Station shuts and re-launches, it rolls (A LOT) and then nothing. It switches up again, I just get back to launch the game and it asks me again for the upgrade.

Any ideas on how to fix it?

Troubles with my PS2

Hello there! I have some troubles with my PlayStation 2. I just bought it second hand and whatever game I play, randomly, sometimes it stops and it loads random stuff: when playing Mafia it’s like it loads the chapter again, when it stops, it begins from when it stop (whatever I am driving a car, or shooting, or just going around); when playing GTA III, it goes like “PlayStation can’t read Grand Theft Auto III disc”.

I already cleaned the reader dot, so I have no idea what to do now…any idea or suggestion?
