Purchased my Bronco tyre wedge AR8s back in March and they quickly became my go to pair of hikers.

Things I love.

1. the extra ankle support and lacing options the extra shaft height offers

2. the JG last is really accommodating for my high volume foot

3. The double last really protected my ankles from bumps and scraps against rocks

4. I really love how comfortable yet grippy the tyre wedge is

The only criticism I have is

1. the JG last is definitely wider, but not tall enough for my high volume instep

2. The water resistance is lacking, I know the poly woven isn't advertised to be water resistant, but I was able to get moderate success melting snoseal on the inside of the boots and progressively rubbing beeswax into the midsole

My neighbor gifted me this cutting they were experimenting with, it was already in the bottle when I got it

I'm new to gardening and wanted to know if this is rooting properly.

I want to eventually keep it in a large enough pot to keep in my backyard

I've had it for 1 week, I change the water every 2 days

Will this survive?

I purchased a pair of buffalo Nummzans around August or September of last year

I normally use the heel lock lacing technique

I mostly use them while hiking.

I noticed the damage a few days ago and stopped using the speed lacing

Should I be concerned?

It's more pronounced when under tension, I just don't want to damage my favorite pair of boots

Hi I'm new to gardening and wanted some input to ensure I give them the best chance to thrive

I have 2 pawpaw sapling, sapling #1(pictures 1-2) are from a backyard gardener, they have several different species growing an think this is a hybrid species. And sapling #2 (pictures 2-4) were donated from a friend who got them from a NYC event Asimina Triloba

I'm in growing zone 7B and both get direct sunlight throughout the entire day, I put a tomato cage and burlap around them to help filter the light

Sapling 1s tap root unfortunately met the bottom of the 5 gallon bucket it was in and was partially bent at the bottom. After I planted it the leaves went from erect and vibrant green to droopy and lost some of its vibrant color. Is this transplant shock?

Sapling 2 has been failing to sprout new leaves

Context on garden layout, I planted some hard neck garlic around both plants to deter insects and also have multiple squash seeds( idk the species since I just keep all of my acorn, butternut, spaghetti, pumpkin ECT seeds in 1 chaos gardening bag in my fridge) germinating in the garden around them

I recently got a few native species and wanted to start a garden and need help.

The main species are, pawpaw, witch hazel, black cherry, witch hazel, creeping phlox and strawberrys

All but the strawberries are native

1 where should I plant the cherry tree?

2 where should I plant the pawpaw tree

3 what other species can I plant around the larger ones?

4 do you see any issues?

I'm running into issues with my earlobe staying one consistent size, as I like to swap between tunnels and ear hangers/ weights.

CONTEXT:

I've had my Right earlobe stretched since 2005.

I moved up to a 1 in tunnel back in 2010 and kept it in until 2016. When I took it out due to work restrictions (If I forgot to put it back in from more than a day it would shrink)

I returned to 1inch in 2020 Once I landed a new job that allowed stretched ears up to the size of a quarter (technically the only allowed 3/4 of an inch but who's going to bring a tape measure to check?)

I noticed that If I wear ear hangers for too long my ear can shrink from a 1-in to 7/16 really quickly, Which wouldn't be an issue for me, but once I put in the size tunnel that fits the firmest it ends up stretching out to the next size within a day

Any advice would be appreciated
