
Didn’t get crackly top on brownies. What can I do better?
My recipe -
113g unsalted butter & melted
90g brown sugar
90g white sugar
2 large eggs
64g all-purpose flour
30g unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
Preheat at 350, bake for 25-30mins
Method
Melt butter, mix until combined with the sugars
Crack in 1 egg at a time and mixed on high for 2-3 mins until mixture was pale
Sifted dry ingredients and folded until combined
This time baked in preheated oven 325° for 28 mins (wanted to try lower temperature and longer duration to see if any diff results) but it’s pretty much the same. Only that it didn’t sink in the middle this time which I’m glad ❤️
But any reason why no crackly top?
