So what do you have in your server?

I'm currently using make mkv to copy my dvds and need a place to store them so they won't fill up my main computer storage.
Does anyone have any good suggestions for storage that has at least 4 to 8 tb?
I need something that's a good bang for my buck you know?
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated
