I've had 3 Silverado trucks and 3 Ram trucks in my lifetime. I keep going Silverado to Ram and repeat. Do y'all bypass the engine shut off while driving? The A with a circle button. I don't like this feature and was wondering if turning it off might help avoid costly future repairs? My first vehicle with this feature. Do you turn it off or leave it on in your truck? Hemi e torque engine.
It seems most of us are struggling with bath time. I was wondering if anyone has a sit down tub for elderly and do you still have problems getting LO in the bath? I'm considering buying one but figure it will just be a waste of money. Are there places that might have them where you can take your LO for a rent a bath? Could be a great business idea if it works. Kind of like the pet stores that have bathing stations. Any spa places that might have these tubs?
I woke up yesterday and went to check on my mom and she was gone. It's really hot and humid here and I knew she wouldn't last long out there because she never drinks on her own without me constantly insisting. I had to call the police but Luckily my wife found her at a playground in the next neighborhood. Thankfully she was ok but it mademe feel like a failure. I have extra locks and cameras but she finally figured out how to undo them. She could hardly walk a month ago and was approved for hospice and now she's running around like a teenager and hard to keep up with. After the first hospice visit she awoke the next day and yelled out I don't want to die and seemed to have snapped back into her body but as a teenager. Now everyday she wants to leave and go home before she gets in trouble with her mom. This causes her and myself so much stress and anxiety. I can't make it stop and she just constantly wants to get out. Distracting and popsicles aren't helping anymore. How do you stop them from trying to leave without actually making them a prisoner in your home? She doesn't know who I am but has told me she knows that she loves me but sometimes I think she feels like I'm holding her captive. How can I get a win and make this all stop? She is terrified of her mother who was really her step mom and passed long ago. My mom swears she moved here from our old state but I've walked and driven the neighborhood to appease her and we never find the house because it doesn't exist here. I dont want her to be scared of a dead person to the point of risking her own life to get back home. Any ideas please to make it stop
Has anyone experienced Paradoxical or Terminal Lucidity? My mom got approved for hospice and after the first visit she seemed to shut down more until she awoke the next day and yelled out I don't want to die as soon as her eyes opened. After that she seems to be more like herself, walking, talking and going to the restroom on her own and has stopped wearing pull ups. It has been 10 days now and she's still mostly back to herself. I assume she understood that a nurse coming to the house was not a good sign even though we never said hospice or anything else in front of her. My research has led me to Paradoxical Lucidity and I was curious if anyone else has experienced this and if so how long did your loved ones survive after experiencing something like this? This has been one hell of a ride and I'm so confused now but I understand this is just temporary from my research. This place is more helpful than the doctors have ever been and I'm hoping someone may have experienced this and may have some info. I guess I'm asking if we are in the final months or could it be another year based on your experience?
