Our Distant Neighbor is an astronomical picture taken of the planet Nereid-12b. captured on October 14, 2046.

This particular planet image has been recorded as one of the first high resolution photos of an exoplanet. This image was captured through a Solar Gravitational Lens (SGL) array, which consists of probes in space located in the outer Solar System and uses the gravitational force of the sun to bend and magnify light coming from distant stars.

The third planet in my custom solar system, a world seeded by panspermia from its sister world, Thalassa.
