Are you pretty disappointed that all we have for the big 30 is a skin in a not-Crash game?

Like . . . how low effort. But that's Activision so it tracks.

I just wish we could have gotten something else.

A new game.

A CD / vinyl release of both the original versions + N. Sane versions of the trilogy & CTR/CNK tracks.

SOMETHING THAT'S ACTUALLY CRASH.

You know?

First time going back to the office in 6.5 years. I've gained weight from 100+ lbs. to 300 lbs., and I'm scared of being judged.

I don't really know what to do. I got depressed over the years due to many factors in my personal life -- image issues, familial, lack of success in many aspects of my life, etc. -- and got into stress eating. I ballooned from ~100 lbs. to ~300 lbs. in that time period. I'm trying to be better now but as you all know, progress is not easy. I'm trying to love myself and accept that I may or may not go back to my original size.

I don't go out much. I stay indoors as much as possible and I attribute that partly to my being introvert. However, for the first time in 6.5 years, I'm being asked to go to the office. My coworkers have not seen me in so long and I'm so afraid of being judged. I know because they were like that when I was still going to the office. Every day there's a new person they gossip about or judge.

How do I cope with this? It was so bad for me that I've actually considered resigning . . . but then I thought, it would just make life harder for me because I have no other source of income. I wanted to talk to my supervisor about it but I know he would say no -- and he did make it clear in the company chat that I have no choice. That I have to do this.

I don't have anything to wear, I don't look good, and I don't drive a car (afraid of it), so I'll take the commute. Partly, I've even forgotten how to make my way there.

I've been stressing about this for weeks since this was announced. I've been praying every night that they change their mind. I'm so lost.

I know it sounds immature and I should deal with it and it's not a big deal in the grand scheme of things . . . and of course, there are far more serious things to worry about in the world. But I really wish I could just avoid having to do this. I'm so afraid. I'm so ashamed.

I'm sorry for this post. I just have nowhere to go and don't know what to do.

Which one will you take: iPod in its original/OEM case even if it's extremely scratched and beat up, or iPod in a new aftermarket case but looks great and pristine?

Do you have a preference?

Japanese firm will continue producing Blu-ray Disc drives as Sony kills off physical game discs

Any news is good news. Keep Blu-ray and 4K UHD alive, whether that's for movie or video games.

Sometimes I wish Innioasis would just provide features through software updates so people didn't have to install Rockbox

For example, gapless playback. Works on Rockbox, but not on the stock software. Clearly the processor is capable of gapless - it's just the software implementation that's lacking.

Another thing is ReplayGain. Standard with almost all DAPs, including ones directly competing with Innioasis (TempoTec V1, Hiby R1). It's just metadata-based volume equalization.

Come on. You keep saying on your website you're the #1 best-seller when it comes to MP3/handheld players. If smaller companies can do it, why can't you? :/ They didn't have the TikTok viral moment you benefitted and continue to benefit from . . you DID. Still, they are able to provide constant software support.

Sustain your fanbase like FiiO/Hiby does. Don't just settle for short-term gains. Build goodwill and people will continue to buy your products. If you burn them now, they WILL never come back for a Y3/Y4 or whatever you have on the pipeline.

What classic PlayStation franchises would you like to see return for the PS6?

There are so many to choose from, especially ones that haven't been around since the PS2 days. Here's my wishlist:

  • Syphon Filter (last game was in 2007 for the PS2)
  • Jak and Daxter, preferably a full-on remake of the first three games, and then a proper sequel
  • Sly Cooper, preferably a full-on remake of the first three games, and maybe a remaster of the fourth game, and a proper sequel
  • Ape Escape
  • The Last of Us III to finish the series as a trilogy
  • Insomniac to revisit the Resistance franchise
  • Killzone
  • Days Gone
  • Destiny 3 (I know, I know. . . but we can dream)

What's yours?

Let's say Sony doesn't change their minds about discs, what would make you choose a PS6 over a PC? (or another platform entirely)

The main draw for me was being able to collect physical copies of my most favorite games . . . but with Sony's decision to forego physicals in the future, I'm suddenly thinking of switching to another platform (Xbox or Nintendo) or even PC.

However, at the same time, I also built a considerable digital library with them. I've only seen Sony take away movies so far. So I'm not sure if that future awaits for games too.

I guess mine would be price. So it can't be upwards $1000 or I'm really just picking up a PC at that point. Lol. What's yours? What would your reason be for staying?
