The Saturn V orbit Test (Kerbal Space Program)

Saturn V rocket orbital test in the Real Solar system/Realism Overhaul mods!

I’m going to do an Apollo 8 mission next, likely tomorrow 🥹😼

Quality is kind of shitty, sorry. Tried to upload to my phone so I could post, it‘ll be much clearer next time 😔

a trip to the moon (Kerbal Space Program, Real Solar System mod)

quality is kind of shitty cause i decided to use my phone taking pictures of my monitor instead of using snipping tool

thought it’d be cool to share to anyone who likes space or ksp

rocket took about 3 hours to build, playing in sandbox mode

in normal Kerbal Space Program, everything is scaled down about 10x. i’m using the real solar system and realism overhaul mods which makes everything real scale

[BLOOD WARNING] Basitin Invincible

Decided to draw Invincible as a Basitin (I was bored lol, and since both Basitins and Viltrumites are pretty strong). Drawn in about an hour. Based on the cover for Invincible #77 :) (ALSO a blood warning if you go search it up)

I’m still practicing my anatomy and stuff, so it’s nothing glamorous. But i’m proud of it 🥹

Any advice for getting into orbit?

I’ve been playing regular non RSS ksp for a couple months now, and i’ve gotten consistent at making circular orbits around Kerbin. I deciced to start trying RSS and RO yesterday, and it’s super fun. I just can’t get into orbit, i just don’t have enough power no matter how many rockets i build. Am i starting my LEO insertion burn too late? Should i start my gravity turn earlier? Should i use more powerful engines? I’m able to make it to space, and i’ve made it up to about 6,000 m/s, but i always end up still on a suborbital trajectory. Any tips for a new RSS player?

Genuinely HOW did it get this fast 💔

Ok, so i was landing a rover on Eve and this was one of the decouplers that got rid of the heat shields, it’s been 5 minutes and this thing is already past jool and halfway to Sarnus (Outer Planets mod). GENUINELY WHAT HAPPENED DAWG, this thing was DEEP in Eve’s atmosphere, how did it get out here 😭

Yeah i’m bored, i don’t know what else to talk about.

Something that’s always kinda fascinated me is thinking about the planets of fictional worlds we only really have maps of. I’ve kind of wondered what the actual PLANET that Mekkan is located on was like. We know there are other continents, but how big IS the planet actually? Because of the latest comic, we know that it has 4 moons, but i’m wondering if they’re really physical moons or just representations of the masks. Each of the 4 masks represents one of the moons, but again, are they PHYSICAL moons you can go to? Using the logic that the planet would be a similar size to earth, having 4 moons of those sizes would cause the orbits of both the planet and the moons to mess up and become highly elliptical over time, possibly leading to collisions. To fix this, the optimal solution would simply be to increase the mass of the planet and change the orbits of the moons to where they dont effect each others orbits. This is why I believe that the planet Mekkan is located on is larger than Earth. If the moons the masks represent ARE physical moons you can go too, than this would make sense. Now, I know that 99% of the side sketches aren’t canon, but looking at the first image (the one where Laura is on one of the moons) it’s safe to assume Laura is on the moon that is on the far left in the 3rd image, as it is the closest to the planet it appears. In the image, we can see a glimpse of the planet, and the southeastern part of Mekkan. If i remember correctly, it took 2 weeks in the original parts of the comic to travel from Wreathwood (the town on the far southwest end of the Human territory) to the Basidian Islands. Using average merchant/passenger vessel speeds of around the same level as Eric’s ship, which is about 4 to 6 knots, they were easily traveling anywhere from 110-168 miles per day. This would put the distance from Wreathwood to the Basidian islands easily to be at least 2000 miles minimum, which is LARGER than the United States from its northermost point to its southernmost point. This would mean that Mekkan itself is absolutely HUGE, possibly being only slightly smaller than EURASIA. This would also make sense as Mekkan has a very diverse climate. So to me at least, it isn’t out of the possibility that the planet Mekkan is located on is a Super-Earth, I don’t know, what do yall think, i’m bored. ;)
