After spending my younger years only reading works of fiction (mainly fantasy).
and also recently coming to the conclusion that my phone addiction is making me dumber, I decided to try and read more critical theory books/intellectual books ? The first book I read, was who really rules the world by Noam Chomsky, and I am currently reading the origins of totalitarianism by Hannah Arendt. Which I struggled/am struggling through both as I fear my reading comprehension or memory is not quite up for the task. I will still finish my current book, but for my next read, or couple of reads I wanted to ask for recommendations for books good for beginners, or just anything that will help me get more into critical theory or that I can use as a basis for understanding and reading about harder topics

Can you get a Tancho koi where the spot on its head is not red but another colour entirely? For example a completely white koi with a well defined black spot on its head in the same way a Tancho has,
Do they have a different name?
Is Tancho specifically for a red spot?
I have tried to search for it but google is being Characteristically unhelpful on the matter, every time it just keeps telling me about regular Tancho that also have black or other colors on their scales.

Title says it all, but basically I'm in Vietnam atm with my girlfriend, and because of their laws on gambling, a casual game of cards in a cafe or public place sometimes isn't the best idea, so I'm looking for a game with comparable versatility and compactness.
Also sometimes you just don't wanna play cards

Me and my partner are looking to go to the central highlands in Vietnam, our favorite memories in Vietnam so far have been trekking tours where we visited local people and experienced local culture with ethnic minority groups, I know there are ethnic groups in central highlands and from what I have researched they look like something we would really like to see, especially the Nhà Rông (rong houses) cultural celebrations etc
I have also heard they still use bottle gourds (calabashes) for many things and would like to look into getting one as a souvenir if it is appropriate.
If anyone has had any good experiences in this part of Vietnam I would love to hear about it and take any suggestions you may have.

Hi me and my girlfriend are currently in Hanoi and looking for high quality outdoors gear, after doing some research on the "made in Vietnam" clothing like Arc'teryx and north face replicas and how they can vary in quality a lot. We think it would be best to just buy straight from Vietnamese brands that have the same functionality and weather resistance seeing as we don't actually mind about the brands anyway and more care about the function of the clothing
We are mainly looking for good waterproof shell jackets and maybe trousers that are breathable and well made
