This is a new one - two boxes with identical serial numbers

So I submitted a support ticket this week for a failed sensor. Got an email back saying they needed more info, and to call them.

Finally got around to it today. I was using the serial number (line 21) off of the box, which I've always done. The CSR told me that serial # had already been called in. I was confused, so picked up the box for the sensor I'm currently wearing. SAME SERIAL NUMBER on both boxes. Same everything. I wouldn't believe it if I hadn't seen it myself. The CSR asked for photos.

Thankfully I had the applicators as well... the serial # on the applicators wasn't even close to matching the box. The app does report the same serial # as the applicator for my current sensor, at least.

Keep your applicators handy. Having worked specifically in packaging medical supplies (specifically, artificial heart valves), everything is supposed to have a clearly visible serial number on the packaging.

Line (01) is also supposed to be a unique identifier... that's the same too.

Need help paying phone bill + refilling meds

UPDATE: Request fulfilled, thanks guys

Hi all,

I hate to ask for help, but I need to pay my phone bill by Wednesday. I've been out of work for a bit, and need my phone to follow up with potential employers.

My phone bill is $26.01 with taxes. The medication I need is $3.95 after insurance, making for a total request of $29.96. Unfortunately the only way I can receive anything is via Venmo or Chime.

Thank you.

Appropriate marketplace title

"Damn ass printer" is something I've said many times, even though I haven't worked IT in over 20 years.

... but how is it low on all toners at 643 pages?

Hey y'all, we tend to be very lighthanded in mod actions in here. This is honestly one of the lowest mod-needed groups on reddit, given the activity. So thanks for that.

But if you're posting anything with a picture of blood, of any kind, even if it's just like a red dot under the adhesive, PLEASE tag as "NSFW" and use the flair "trigger warning: blood" (it's very close to the bottom). I've been changing 2-3 posts or comments a day lately, and I'm probably the least active mod. There's a good chunk of members in here who flat out either pass out or vomit at the site of blood (or even the thought of it). I personally pass out at the sight of my own, but oddly enough can handle seeing others. I'm THAT guy that the doctor asks "so ever passed out from a blood draw?" and answer "lol nope, but always a first t.... wtf am I doing on the floor with 3 ppl picking me up?!"

So please... start using those NSFW tags and trigger warnings. I know there's another "blood" flair; I'm working with the other mods to rework the flairs to trigger NSFW, as I'd say half of them are out of date. I personally feel anything tagged "blood" should automatically trigger NSFW, but we need to figure out how to automate that. (this is when other more advanced mods get to laugh)

I hope everyone has an amazing day aside from this. ❤️
