I'm trying to mix for my band and tbh I'm getting happier with my mixes, I got to mix quad tracked guitars with bass and live drums. Despite this I feel like it could still be better, this was my first time mixing drums and they sounded a little damp or muddy so I tried to make the unclearness up. This is an instrumental track as of right now but I want to know how I could do better before moving on to vocals.

I have this very strange issue where i keep having to press the a button for it to work, aswell as the microphone just not working at all. I tried cleaning the port, connecting my xbox to a different outlet, connecting my controller to the back, using a different controller, using different cables, using different microphone, resetting the entire console. Nothing seems to help or fix the issue. Please help I've had this issue for weeks.
