How to do same currency international money transfers (CAD)

I'm trying to transfer money from my canadian accounts (CIBS and RBC) to japan. My wife has a Japanese sony bank account in CAD which supposedly should be able to receive CAD directly without any transfer fees and then convert internally.

I've been trying to do it through wise or through my bank's international transfer system but every time i select japan as destination country it locks the currency to USD or JPY to receive.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Or with best way to transfer money from Canada to Japan? I want to transfer about 60k CAD

Thank you.

What's the secret of Chickpea's chicksteak? (Chickpea Restaurant)

I will be unfortunately soon moving away from this city and I love eating at Chickpea, I'm especially impressed by the chicksteak. Does anyone know what it's made of and how they get it so similar to meat?

I would love to be able to make something like that at home after I move.

Double Faced One-Punch Man proxy card for my commander deck

Making a new commander deck with a OPM theme. I'm trying to make two templates, one in the manga black and white style and one using the style of the covers.

This is the commander card that uses one style on each side of the card.

Working on a one punch man deck, I'm trying to make a manga frame but not sure if this looks good.

Have some extra LOGH artwork to give to someone

Basically I was keeping this art for some sort of wall display but unfortunately I am moving and will not have the space there.

This is the inside of the Fleet File Collection Model boxes. I cut off the lid.

The other side has black and white schematics.

If anyone is interested I can ship them to you as long as you pay shipping. I live in Canada.

Please PM me if interested. (Someone has tentatively accepted, will remove this line if they end up not taking)

Moving to Japan and wondering if I should bring my dutch oven and pizza stone

As i mentioned in the title I'm moving to Japan soon and am deciding what to bring and what to sell. I have a pizza stone I use for the oven to make pizza and a 6qt lodge dutch oven I use to make bread.

My wife is worried the dutch oven will be too big for the japanese ovens and even if it fits it would be too hard to get out.

She's also worried the pizza oven might not fit or it might not be allowed in a Japanese microwave/oven combo.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

How to compost in apartment?

I'd like to start doing some vegetable gardening on my terrace and are also looking for a solution to our food scraps.

Wife found a product called Paris Paris Cue which seems to promise some sort of end product that can be mixed in with the soil as a fertilizer.

It seems to be mostly a dehydrator, I assume there is some way to convert the dried small food scraps into fertilizer? No idea how though.

What is everyone's setup/solution? Most important is space and smell.
