TV above the fireplace too high? Say less

This is a job I did for someone and I just love mantle mounts :) had to run an outlet from the side so it looks clean but it was so worth it

I made a tool to aggregate public permit data from Los Angeles

Here is my issue, I can't connect a name and phone number to an address without creating a paid account through Property Radar or some other tool.
My goal is to have as much information as I can get about homeowners including name, phone and email so I can call the homeowner and pitch a free consultation for my friends electrical company.
I can dork the info with google but it takes too much time to make the list and it isn't organized
Anybody has any creative solutions?

I lost half a million dollars gambling on baccarat in about 10 minutes

Here is the gist:
I started playing with 1000$ in December of last year online.
I was watching a gambling influencer on YouTube and learned to play blackjack and baccarat.
I started winning a lot of money first it was about 20 k from black jack, that made me want to play for more since the bet limit in blackjack is 5 k so I switched to Baccarat and ended up with just about 500k. I then decided I want a million so I started playing in the high roller rooms playing baccarat for 50k a hand.
I lost 10 times in a row

After months as an outpatient I feel much better, but what's next?

Hello everyone, I was diagnosed with FND at the beginning of 2025, my unique flavor of FND causes involuntary movements, and hard muscle spasms.
When I was diagnosed, my previous Doctor Who is not a neurologist, asked me if "FND is what they write for someone that they can't diagnose?"

After a few months of escaping suicidality I managed to get into an outpatient program that specializes in Neuro- psychiatric rehabilitation.

I was able to see my psychiatrist every day and got psychotherapy and occupational therapy to try and teach my body to be normal again.

as months went by I started feeling better with a lot of medication. But here's the thing:

Is this what my life will look like now?
Is there no way for me to completely heal?
Am I gonna have to take nine different pills every day for the rest of my life?
I've started coming to the conclusion that this might be the case.

I'm glad to be better but I wish that there was more I could strive to then just being ok.

Is there anyone here who's symptoms went away completely? What helps you? What makes your condition flare up? Please let me know.

AITAH for trying to split the rent with my now ex girlfriend (m30, f24)

Here is the brass tacks:
I was temporarily living with my ex girlfriend for about a month, and we started talking about moving out of my place and getting a place together at the time we were two months together.
She's under the impression that the man should pay for everything while she's saving money for the both of us allegedly .
I'm not rich and just recovered from a long and harsh medical diagnosis.

I told her that until she had kids and had to take care of them I think that she should work and split the cost of the new place with me and that it's only fair.

She told me that if I want to prove my worth as a husband, then I need to show that I can provide even before we get married.

That caused an argument that led to us breaking up.
Now I'm not a conservative trad husband in any way shape or form but I don't mind being the sole provider if we have kids and she takes care of them /homeschools.
I just think it's fair that if you are not doing anything you should be responsible for your share of the costs of living.
Am I the asshole?
