r/ACBlackFlag feels like it's filled with Paid Actors and NPCs now

4+ months ago, before Resynced announcement, everybody agreed that they didn't want a potential remake of Black Flag to have changes that wouldn't be improvements, changes that are made because they don't understand what actually made Black Flag so good. I see people that actually like what they're seeing from Resynced? I feel like I'm crazy, because I don't see how Resynced is better than the OG. Maybe there's some small improvements I like, but there's nothing that I like about it that would make me prefer Resynced over the OG.

Black Flag was basically a pirates wet dream, you could be a pirate God. Resynced "improved combat" will make boarding ships a slog, and it just looks bad to me. Resynced doesn't look like it has that dirty gritty atmosphere the OG has. In general, Resynced mainly looks like a downgrade to me. Maybe because it caters to a different audience? I'm trying to like what I see, but I just can't. I prefer the right image.

And what bothers me the most is that mostly everybody agreed with me before the Resynced announcement, but after the Resynced reveal, the r/ACBlackFlag sub feels like it's just full of paid actors or NPCs now, and people that say anything remotely negative about Resynced will get downvoted to hell, even though the same opinions 6 months ago before the Resynced announcement would get a ton of upvotes. What the hell? I don't know what to think anymore. I finally joined this sub, and I'm just waiting around, halfway hoping to see a ton of people get disappointed with Resynced, when they realize the changes they thought they wanted are actually not that great.

And when they get mad at me for my opinions... wow. Just wow. "Don't buy it then." Yeah. I know that. I'm just very disappointed that idiots like them are the reason I'll never get an improved and upgraded Black Flag that I'll enjoy, and we're now stuck with Resynced, which looks awful to me. And that's not just nostalgia talking. I'm not trying to have a hate boner for Resynced. I'm just very disappointed that the OG Black Flag is what I'll be stuck playing, and I've lost my chance at seeing Black Flag get an actually upgrade with real improvements.

Friend talks because they think it's an awkward silence. I'm not talking because talking is awkward.

There's no such thing as an awkward silence. It's okay to be lost in thought, and being observant until there's something important enough or interesting enough to talk about. Silence is better than filling the air with with wasteful and boring words. Edifying and intriguing conversation is way better than forced boring conversations about uninteresting subjects, just because some people can't stand silence. Just sitting there together in thoughtful contemplation feels less awkward to me than trying to carry an uninteresting conversation and engaging in small talk.

Tagged as possible social anxiety rather than introverted behavior, even though I have no problem being social and holding a conversation. I just find it more enjoyable to stay lost in thought, or be engaged in something more edifying and useful than a boring conversation, just because some people find every moment of silence awkward. I'm really only posting about this because some extroverts find it hard to understand how someone can be fine staying silent during what they perceive as an awkward silence. It's because some introverts will be lost in thought until they think of something they feel is important or interesting enough to be worth talking about. It doesn't mean I'm antisocial or suffer from social anxiety.

Breaking News: Black Flag Resynced isn't coming out

I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news. I wish so badly that I didn't have to break it to you, but it's true, Black Flag Resynced isn't coming out. Ubisoft made a new game, but it isn't Black Flag. They just slapped the Black Flag sticker on a different game, but it's not going to feel like Black Flag at all. I'm sorry for anyone else that is sad to hear they butchered my boy. I still have my older child (the original), but my younger child was lost in a miscarriage. Please grieve with me, and let's have a moment of silence for the ones who lost their lives before they had the chance to live.

Feel free to tell me how you feel in the comments. I have thick skin, but I'm not planning on responding to anyone. Respect my time to mourn my loss. I don't care if I'm downvoted to hell, I'd rather burn in the fiery pits than admit that Black Flag Resynced is going to be any good.
