More RNG fun: this guy has to be someone's kink... (still SFW mostly)

Side note, does anyone else with SotA feel like the "spider priestess" dress comes up an awful lot on random female heroes? Not complaining, especially here, but it feels like it's way more than 50% for me.
...unfortunately I'm not sure how to control it. The only way is for the unit orders to *not* be the lowest on the list on the right side, which only happens when there's a special "goblet" notification like seen in the screenshot. If that hasn't triggered or you click it away the game goes right back to not giving you a list again and just continually recentering on whatever unit is showing in the shortcut thumbnail.
So, still hoping there might be a mod or QoL update in the future.
There is a city ruin in the middle of the area and on mad whim I decided to rebuild it after clearing the fate seal. Some of the territory remains uninhabitable and most of the nodes seem to still be unrecoverable ruins but once the dungeon creep reached the Tower wonder I was able to restore the 2(!) mana nodes in its province. Also the dungeon entrance on the left is part of an inaccessible bedrock corridor but the one on the right let me expand up and out onto the surface -- good thing too because my choice on cleansing the Cataclysm caused a huge population boom! Oh and the lake in the northwest counted as enough water I was able to build a fish farm and a shipyard.
EDIT: I was able to bring the Arcanium Ore node back online! Guess the dungeon hadn't quite spread to that province yet.
You might or might not be aware that holding down the ALT key will allow you to directly target things you normally can't, like obstacles or friendlies. With the way Magelock Cannons work, though, you can sometimes use it to target the ground and catch something in the three-hex line that otherwise wouldn't be in range, such as the Sand Worm in these screenshots (apologies for the camera angle change, it's the same exact layout).
Don't worry, the shot will still sail above anything in-between until it "lands." Note it doesn't have to be directly in line with the cannon, either. So the next time the AI gets cute arranging its units to be just outside the direct fire limit, always check to see if you can still bounce a special delivery into their face.
As in the title, it's been occasionally annoying to me that I can't specifically select a unit further down the orders queue and watching another person play I saw them get an expanded choice of which one to select by clicking on this, the same way you would for notifications about city production, etc. I can go manually cycle through the armies or use the army panel but after issuing those orders I'm right back to the one "in the way" (for example I want to attack with them but not until the end of the turn). I don't want to use the wait one turn function in case I forget about them altogether (clarification that this is on the world map, not in combat).
But no matter what I've tried I can't seem to bring up what the other person was getting and they just shrugged at me and said it just works like that for them when they click it. For me it just keeps recentering and reselecting the boar (or whatever else is currently at the top of the queue). I've combed through the settings options and can't figure it out.
I hope it's clear enough what I'm talking about. I thought at first it was just a frustrating "feature" of the UI I'd have to live with but now I'm seeing a heavenly light of redemption that remains just out of reach...
I had to accept her offer of course, especially after she greeted me with a smooch. Human base with Demonkin major and Reveler's Heart/Scion of Flame minor transforms. Only thing missing is a forked tail.
I had one game where the new Wayfinder enchantment seemed to be working fine, I'd go into manual battle, retreat my scout, and they'd show up a few turns later at one of my cities.
I then finally got around to doing the second story realm of Archon Prophecy (Cliffs of Sorduun) and since I took Devious Watchers as a trait my scouts went were camouflaged and went unmolested for a long time. Just now though I had two in a row get found and attacked, and in both cases I retreated them right away before the opposition could cast a spell much less get someone dominated, but in both cases instead of successfully fleeing they got captured?
I guess the fine print of Wayfinder says they won't die, not that they can't be captured, but I'm not seeing any trait of the world or the enemies (one time with Merlin, one Calioth) that would cause this. I checked and neither scout is on the list of routed units so I don't think they're coming back, or now I'm also worried they're going to end up used against me?
What's happening?
I don't know if I just didn't notice before but the Age of Fashion mods (probably Vampire Vogue) at some point added a blood maggot in the "back" category as a shoulder accessory and it looks so perfect for topping off one's pirate-themed drip.
For a game where you have to fudge things to get close-ups (rotating the camera to an obstacle, etc.) it's just crazy to get in there and see the amount of detailing on the outfits and gear, the wood grain and gilding on the ships, etc. etc.
I can see why they're taking their time with further ship customization because these are so intricate. It's rough to have to look at that six-month timeframe but if they keep cooking like this it'll be worth the wait, plus hopefully we get a native photo mode to really show it off.
It will not turn her back into a handsome priestess.
Side note: I was expecting some sort of crocodile, not... that!
I just finally got around to trying to place one of these today and the snapping is so weird. I know I can turn the snapping off but I'm trying to figure out how the default placement is supposed to go since no matter which way you turn it it's halfway between walls and you either leave spaces or there's clipping even with small pieces.
We sink ships for the LORD!
I'm sure people have much fancier builds than this but I like how it's turned out so far.
