Under the Jehovah’s Witness two-witness rule, without a confession, two material witnesses are required before an allegation can be established through the congregation’s internal disciplinary process.

The UK Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse concluded that this rule “has no place” in responses to child sexual abuse, “lacks compassion for the victim” and “serves to protect the perpetrator.”

The inquiry also recorded survivor Kerri’s account that when she disclosed abuse by her father, neither an elder nor her mother believed her.

For decades, Jehovah’s Witness publications strongly discouraged higher education, repeatedly warning that university could endanger a Christian’s spirituality. Congregation elders could also have their qualifications reviewed depending on the educational choices made within their household.

Then, in August 2025, Governing Body Update #5 stated that obtaining additional education is a personal decision—and that no Christian, including the elders, should judge someone else’s choice.

Hi everyone!

I’ve been working on JWTruth.org for a while, but after the latest blood-doctrine change, I felt it needed to go live today.

The site is built especially for curious Jehovah’s Witnesses who have genuine questions and want to investigate without being insulted or told what to believe.

It simply shows:

• What the organisation originally published
• What it teaches now
• What actually happened
• The source, date and page so everything can be checked independently

There are currently 776 sources, 688 opened and verified sources, and 512 evidence-backed claims. Most links go directly to JW.org or the Watchtower Online Library.

Every claim has a status such as Verified, Supported, Disputed or Unverified. The evidence is maintained through a source-tracking ledger, with a public corrections log documenting any amendments.

I genuinely encourage Jehovah’s Witnesses to visit the site and try to disprove anything on it. If evidence shows that something is inaccurate or missing context, it can be reported, investigated and publicly corrected, whether that correction supports or challenges the site’s original conclusion.

However, I don’t expect many of the central facts to be disproved, because they are supported by the organisation’s own publications.

The largest investigation is the new blood change:

It documents the history from 1945 to 2026, including the 1994 Awake! issue about children who refused blood, the former consequences for accepting it, and both major changes made this year.

Its “Then versus now” matrix tracks whole blood, red cells, white cells, platelets, plasma, blood fractions, stored personal blood and donations across four periods. Every individual cell links to the publication supporting it.

The site also examines:

• The expectations surrounding 1914, 1918, 1925 and 1975
• “Millions Now Living Will Never Die”
• The generation and overlapping-generation teachings
• Organ transplants, vaccinations and alternative service
• Shunning and family separation
• Child safeguarding and the two-witness rule
• “New light” and other doctrinal changes
• Authority, fallibility and information control

This isn’t intended to slander or attack individual Witnesses. If someone opens the site and immediately feels mocked, we have lost the opportunity to reach them.

The aim is to provide a calm, meticulous trail of evidence that allows people to reach their own conclusions, and hopefully gives someone already questioning the final push they need to escape.

There are no adverts or tracking cookies, and there is a quick-exit button for anyone researching privately.

Please explore it, challenge it, share it, and report anything you believe is inaccurate. I want this to become a transparent and trustworthy resource that remains accountable to the evidence.
