What if we can't make it due to the launchpad?

I won't be able to come make it by the 20th morning, as an outstation candidate who is coming based on external hostel. I had to reschedule my flight for 21st (so the day before O'gala) and my living arrangements are an external hostel, coming by myself to Karachi for the first time.

How important is this event, and what if I miss it? Shall I email IBA?

What can I do to make up for any losses of the launchpad learnings - is there no alternative place so that I can understand my programme better?

I get the social aspect is a loss but honestly IBA scheduling sucks, especially when they didn't do squat to help us outstation students without a hostel who don't have any ancestor in Sindh for the last 350 years lol

I have a complicated equivalency problem

Hi guys,

So basically I am an OSP who moved a couple years back to Pak. I just finished giving my 3 A-levels and 3 mandatory O-levels for IBCC.

My middle school was MYP from the International Baccalaureate system, not O-levels from Cambridge.

The problem I'm facing is merit calculation percentage. I put an educated guess of 83% and with NET my aggregate is roughly 72.5%. I'll probably come in the second or third list for BBA (my desired programme). I couldn't put an actual amount because IBCC required my 3 O-lvls.

By the time my O-levels result comes out and I get my IBCC equivalence done it's possible I face an issue of an inaccurate merit calculation, let's say 81%.

How will I explain this to NUST when submitting my documents? They said they will cancel any admission for inaccurate information but I did not falsify information, rather, I used online calculator to calculate my O-lvl equivalence to the best of my knowledge.

I also won't know if my adjusted percentage will still have me in the closing list for the programme. I already paid the full fee on 10th August.

Please help me.

How was your test/interview experience today?

BBA/BIA/Econ

First of all I'll preface that this post is for all the baddies and khaas tour par the inviligators 😭

Test was halwa but it's great to see BNU making it a bit more rigorous. I hope the university catches on and makes it harder.

However, the test and interview scheduling was seriously unprofessional and uncoordinated. It felt like just 1 or barely 2 steps above a government hospital. We changed room 3 times across 4 floors and they kept interrupting during the damn test.

Our proctor for the test was some cute chubby guy who talked sweetly.

The BBA interview dude was too serious man. Some head professor guy. Felt like he was done with life or something tbh.

But overall nice experience. BNU campus has this charm to it, I feel - and especially so when it's cloudy
