Whats your guys fuel consumption?

I just bought a 1983 520i and i knew these weren’t fuel efficient but it seems excessive, i drove it around 70-80km total of city driving till now and its somehow used up 25L of fuel. I don’t think this is normal. The car does not smoke at all and the engine doesn’t seem weak and no fuel leaks are present as when the car is left in the garage no fuel puddles or any scent of fuel is present so i don’t know where all this fuel is going. I did not drive it with a heavy foot and only did like 2-3 short pulls less then 10s to confirm the engine is strong. The transmission is a 3 speed automatic. Do you guys know what could cause this horrendous fuel consumption?

Retrofitting fog lights EU spec

Hi everyone I’m planning to buy an e28 i found one in a somewhat decent spec but it unfortunately does not have fog lights. Is it an easy job to retrofit the fog lights as in is all the wiring there or is it more complicated? I would want to fit them in a way that would be as if it came with them from factory. I have another car not a BMW but a renault megane 2 cc which I’ve retrofitted keyless entry, OEM parking sensors, folding mirrors etc so it wouldn’t be my first time retrofitting options to a car but then again they’re from completely different eras and completely different cars so i don’t know. Any help?

I have a issue with a limited edition controller and I'm unsure of how to proceed anymore

About 4 months ago I bought the 20th Anniversary GoW controller. I've barely used it, maybe 3 times total, but the right trigger started squeaking badly and became harder to press. I returned it to the store under warranty and was told they'd get back to me the next day.

They later told me my only options were either a standard white controller as a replacement or a repair because there were supposedly no GoW controllers left in stock. Since I obviously wasn't going to trade a limited edition controller for a standard one, I reluctantly agreed to the repair. Before they took it, I made it clear that I expected the controller to be returned in the same cosmetic condition, with no damage from opening it.

When I picked it up today, I found they had replaced the original red and white triggers with standard black ones. I pointed this out and they tried to argue that I'd been told the trigger assembly would be replaced, but I reminded them that I specifically said I wanted the controller returned in the same condition. They didn't really have a response to that.

What makes this even more frustrating is that I checked Sony Direct afterwards and found the 20th Anniversary controller is actually still in stock. The only reason I agreed to the repair in the first place was because I was told a replacement wasn't possible. When I brought this up, they said I could either wait 2–3 weeks for the correct parts to arrive or take the controller now and bring it back later. They also claimed they can't offer a replacement because they operate through regional distribution channels, even though Sony is still selling the controller directly.

My issue now is that the controller will have to be opened a second time, which only increases the chances of broken clips, creaking, or other problems. It feels unfair that replacement stock appears to exist, yet they're insisting on repairing it instead. Am I being unreasonable for continuing to push for a brand-new replacement rather than another repair attempt? Especially considering I'm based in the EU and the Sony direct store i looked ad is in the UK.
