A funny thing happened to me a few days ago. I'm a size 14 even tough I'm only 5'6.

We had a problem with the AC unit at me girlfriend's place so the repair guys came yesterday. When they came in I was in the shower and my girlfriend was smoking outside. When I came out of the bathroom, I heard one of them say "that guy must be a fucking giant with shoes that big!"

You sould have seen their face when they saw my 5'6 self taking the size 14 shoes and put them on my feet!

I always find it funny to see how people react to a guy so short having such big feet!

Do you guys have funny stores on how people react to your big feet?

Yesterday, something special happened to me. For context, I'm a 5'6 50 years old man. Lately, I decided to let go with my height and act more confident. I shaved ma beard differently, changed the way I dress a little...

So yesterday, I was at the grocery store. There was this woman, I'd say in her mid 40's. Short blond hair, sporty style, about 5'10. I smiled and noded at her and she smiled back. After that, anywhere I was in the store, she was there. Went to see the fish, she was there beside me. Went to the meat section, a few seconds later she was there. As she looked sporty, i assumed she eats healthy so to verify, I went to the chips and candies section and not even 20 seconds later, there she was.

The point of that is even she was somehow a good 4 inches taller than me, she seemed attracted to me. Do some changes in the way you look so YOU will like it and it will show to others. Act with confidence even if it's hard, fake it 'till you make it! Some women don't care about height. Not all of them of course, but some. It's the way you look and act that will catch their eyes! You are not defined by your height.

Je suis un homme de 50 ans qui aimerait commencer le gym. Je suis à Montréal-Nord, je travaille à St-Léonard et j'ai le choix près de chez moi ou près du boulot entre Éconofitness et Buzzfit. J'aimerais des opinions sur ces deux bannière.

Aussi, comme je débute, j'aimerais savoir s'ils font des bon plans d'entraînement. Je serai débutant, je vise perte de poids, amélioration du cardio et musculation.

Sinon, des gens qui s'entraînent dans le coin et qui pourraient devenir des gym buddies et me guider dans cette aventure seraient les bienvenus!
