Picked up a purple GameCube this month and I’ve gotta say I’ve been having a blast!! Here’s my collection so far and where it’ll stay for quite a while (made sure to pick up all my favorites but damn these games are expensive :p) but it’s ight. I tried modding with picoboot and effed it up pretty badly but I managed to use the save file hack with Windwaker recently and that’s working like a charm (although I don’t have a ton of memory card space 😭) TLDR what do yall think and what are some of your favorite GameCube games?

Is this ribbon cable creased to much? I keep reseating it cuz I keep getting an error message and it feels kinda hard to remove the drive while the cable is in

I think my Wii is leaving these straight smudges on my GameCube disc? Is this ok or should I stop putting GC discs in my Wii? (Not looking to get the Wii repaired as I’m getting a GameCube sometime this week, I just put this game in to see if it works) (also smudge like is on the left :p)

Heyo! I’ve recently acquired an n64 and a small number of games and just had a general question. I dunno if it’s a dumb question but there’s a small bit of corrosion on my copy of sm64 that hasn’t really affected the game too much, it boots up and runs fine I was just wondering if it’s ok to keep playing the game in this condition or if I should look into doing a deeper clean (I’ve already cleaned with IPA and it hasn’t done much)

They happen on some discs but not others. in this case it’s P3FES and the big clack at the beginning only happens during the first load and never again afterwards while the smaller clicks stop and come back depending on how long I’ve played. (Although those I’m p sure are my consoles laser ribbon cable as I’ve opened the thing up and found that it kinda makes that noise when I move the laser carriage so I’m more so concerned about the big clack) I’ve had this thing for a while and it’s kinda always made these noises but I’m just curious to see if anyone knows why :p
Note: it hasn’t been scratching any of my discs

The collections grown quite a bit in the last few years, but I think I’m at a point where I’m good for now :p. I’ve got a ton of bangers on this shelf and I picked up P3FES earlier today, and for a p decent price too! (Also yeah I know the shelf is a little janky)
