Journaling (software)

Hi all,

I've been recording my trades in an excel spreadsheet that I created and, by and large, it's been ok for me. However, I'm aware that there are some online products that might make things easier, plus also give me additional insights. So far, I've found the following:

  • Tradejots

  • Tradecraft

  • Tradezilla

  • Tradervue

  • Stonkjournal

Has anyone got any experience of these though, and can provide some thoughts? Or provide alternatives?

Thanks.

Adventure Mode question

Hi all,

I've started playing Remnant 2 recently with friends and, on my campaign, we're on our third location (N'Erud > Labyrinth > Yaesha). However, in adventure mode, it only ever comes up N'Erud as an option.

I'm under the impression that you have to beat the "world" boss to adventure on it, but I've never seen the Labyrinth as an option.

Am I missing something here?

Thanks.

Is this a good part list?

Hi all,

After 6 years, I think it's time to upgrade my computer, so I'd appreciate any feedback on the following build part list. For reference, it's mostly for standard home use but I'm putting some money into it, so I can get 5 or 6 years out of this one as well. In terms of games, I play Guild Wars 2 - which I believe is CPU heavy.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D

Motherboard: ASUS TUF Gaming B850-Plus Wifi

RAM: 32Gb Corsair Vengeance DDR5 6000MHz CL36 (2 x 16Gb)

Graphics: 16Gb ADM Radeon RX 9060 XT

SSD: 1Tb Samsung 990 EVO PLUS

Sound: Onboard Sound

Any thoughts and / or substitutions would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi all,

I'm hoping to do a trip to Portugal in July of this year, and would appreciate some location advice. Before I get into what I'm looking for, I appreciate July is both hot and busy (see later), but I don't have much flexibility of when I can travel due to my job. :)

So...I'm hoping to find a quiet non-touristy town / village which I can use as a base of operations. More specifically, I dislike large crowds and instead want to see castles, ancient monuments, old villages, scenery, etc. plus try out local food and have a beer in a cafe in the evening, etc.

I prefer slightly cooler temperatures, so I'm intending to hire a car from Porto airport, so somewhere in the north / middle of the country would be better. The car would give me some flexibility in terms of traveling to day trip locations as well. As a starting point, I was thinking of Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo, it's a pretty solid drive from the airport but ticks a lot of boxes, although the restaurants seem a little uninspired (as per Google maps).

Thanks.

p.s. I appreciate Lisbon and Porto have their attractions, but I'll visit them in the off season when I'm retired. ;)
