Is this the right place to request a stream review...?

Is this the right place to ask for people to review my stream(s)?

I'm relatively new and looking for tips on getting better. I am aware of engagement in shorts and multiplatform streaming etc, but at the moment my focus is consistency on Twitch streaming games that I enjoy.

If this is the correct place, I intend to stream in the next hour for at least 3-4 hours.

You can find me at DontEatGlass_

I do not expect follows, I do not expect you to stay, and I don't really expect anything to come of this, but opinions and constructive criticism are welcome!

Twitch changed my stream to 2K and other outputs despite not being affiliate?

Normally I stream Arc Raiders with absolutely no issue whatsoever.

Today I decided to stream Cyberpunk 2077 and the game was a stuttering, choppy mess.

I changed settings, removed mods from the game, but ultimately the issue came from Twitch changing my output to 2k despite me not meeting the requirements.

So, I changed some settings in OBS, all the way down to 1280x720 for base and output, changed that inside Cybnerpunk and it ran fine - the only issue of course is that the game looked AWFUL.

So, I figured if that was the fix, I can turn my settings back up right? Nope. Game became a laggy mess all over again. Ended up having to cut the stream short - this was after another streamer I had watched earlier this week raided me with 18 people who were all chatty and lovely!

After I changed the settings as mentioned, it still showed that I was streaming in other resolutions, 720p etc.

So, what the hell is my issue? I've got an RTX4070, 900mbps symmetrical wired in speeds, and yet I can't run Cyberpunk without even the pause menu telling me it's loading while I'm on stream!

I'm a bit new to this streamer stuff and I'm not exactly tech savvy either - if anyone has experience with this or any advice I'd really appreciate it. I have streamed Cyberpunk in the past, at least twice, with 0 issues whatsoever before now, and I really don't want to have another stream of me saying that it looks bad and mostly showing the settings menu.

My home town now holds the record for the hottest day in June in the UK.

I had a shower 20 minutes ago and my shoulder length hair is already dry.

Nuclear power query

G'day. Again.

So I am currently as far as I've ever gotten (I am playing base Factorio without space age) and I am at the point where I am considering moving over to nuclear power as my only power source.
This is an image of my current setup - it's based on a blueprint I found and it's stated to produce 480MW (despite my production analytics telling me that I'm producing 599MW at max - I am aware of the bonus that the reactors get when placed next to each other so presumably that is why.)

My only concern is keeping the nuclear reactors running - I have 4.8k Uranium fuel cells in storage with ample opportunity to make more.

Is this enough fuel cells if I wanted to expand my reactors? Make another chunk of 4 reactors? Or three sections of 4 more for the sake of symmetry? The last thing I want is to remove my old coal and solid fuel setup only for me to run out and have to scramble my way to getting the lights back on.

Edit to say that 599MW is what the game tells me is my upper limit.

Edit 2: Thank you for all the helpful info! My questions have been answered - I have pleeeeeenty of fuel cells and I have a lot of Uranium-235 in storage so I am all set. Thank you all for the comments :)

Roboport query

G'day.

So I've have bots and roboports for a few hours now and I am running into a problem.

I am trying to upgrade my copper stacks to the next tier, red belts and steel furnaces. No problem, mall is just below, plenty of resources, plenty of bots.

What I don't understand is why my bots are travelling to far away roboports to recharge after placing an item down? I have a 900+ construction bots in the network and 100+ roboports next to where I keep my mass general storage, and yet they don't use them?

I've also had an issue where, despite there being plenty of space in my logistic chests (the yellow ones) my bots decided to dump/move all of my dynamite into a random chest in an oil outpost? They were not instructed to do this.

Is there something I'm missing? Do I need to have alternate logistic networks for different tasks?

I have not used bots for very long so I don't know all their quirks, and my habit has been to make more bots and more roboports where I need them.

Here is an image of my entire base - you can see the bot coverage, preferable for when I was setting up outposts and wanted bots to go and fix my walls/flamethrowers after an attack.

Any advice or tips are appreciated.

I am playing base Factorio *without the Space Age DLC* (It too expensive for me right now.)

EDIT: I have attached a video of the issue regarding the bots travelling far distances to recharge rather than the roboports that are closer and definitively available.

EDIT 2: OK.... So... I have realised that I did not have the required fast belts for the bots to place them down in the first place which I suppose could explain it. Do bots go back to their original roboport every time or do they go to the nearest available port? This is after they have placed an item, not when they need to recharge.

My first rocket!

I have been playing this game since December 2024 after being inspired by several YT videos, namely Martincitopants at the time, and I have been obsessed with it.

After many restarts and breaks away from the game I finally managed to push through and get my first rocket into space and just wanted to celebrate.

Just under the 500h mark!

Some things of note:

- I had never used a Spidertron before this save and WOW what a mistake.

- I never made it to Nuclear power - I did have a blackout that forced me to setup solid fuel, but I was well on my way to Nuclear by the time this rocket launched.

- Flamethrower turrets are OP as hell - one wall with a few behind them was plenty the whole save.

- I never used the nuke before! Very cool, but let me use it in my artillery cannon, which is also very very cool.

- I will never get tired of using bots.

- Look up a latch for fluids/pumps if you're having issues they're awesome.

The factory must grow.
