The Kangaroo by the dam is over 200m away. Most of the other blobs on the hill are wombats or wallabies (which look like blobs even to the naked eye 😂).

For a total entry level thermal ($550), does anyone have anything that performs better than this?
I can return it for 90 days, so I felt like there wasn't much to lose.

Has anyone had their hands on one of these?
I'm after a thermal handheld for quick scanning and identification of Deer and other animals, to then follow up with the NV scope.
I understand they are cheap and won't compare to higher end gear, but if I'm going to spend $600 AUD, is there a better option out there?

Has anyone had a play with these budget Chinese thermals? They have free 90 day returns, so I'm thinking about picking one up to see.
Or can anyone recommend any other budget thermal monocular?
