I have a complaint going on with Daraz and they sent me an email yesterday asking me to provide them some additional information. I have tried responding to that email like 12 times and every time i see this mail come through. What is this?

Hi everyone,

I need help identifying the exact bottom screw size for a Lenovo ThinkPad t470 13 Gen 2. I removed one of the bottom cover screws and misplaced it.

From what i found online it might be an M2 × 2.5 mm screw but i want to confirm before ordering replacements.

If anyone knows the exact screw type or has a link to compatible replacement screws please share.

Thanks! 🙏🏼

I think it’s enough back and forth requesting and emailing. RIP Sadapay for me. Leaving the subreddit now. Have a good one guys. Better leave it sooner than later.

Hey everyone, i recently bought a used “like new” laptop from Daraz and received it on April 11th. Right out of the box i noticed a few physical and display related issues. The back cover had two literal screws missing, which made it feel like the device had been opened or repaired before carelessly. On top of that, the screen had a few over bright spots in different areas. They weren’t huge but definitely noticeable on lighter backgrounds.

At that point, i didn’t raise a complaint. Since it was a used laptop i assumed these were normal signs of wear and tear and decided to ignore them.

However, there were also some functional issues that i noticed early on. The biggest one was with charging. Sometimes the laptop wouldn’t charge at all and other times it would randomly stop charging even when plugged in. I thought maybe it was a minor issue with the adapter or cable so again i didn’t act on it immediately.

Fast forward to now, and things have gotten significantly worse. The screen has started to blur and the bright spots have become more prominent making it difficult to use for normal tasks. The charging issue has also become more frequent and unreliable to the point where i can’t depend on the laptop anymore.

The problem is, Daraz had a 14 day return window and that has already passed. So i can’t initiate a normal return through the platform anymore. However, the seller had a big “6 Months warranty” written on his daraz Ad.

So now i’m stuck and trying to figure out what my realistic options are:

  1. Is there any way to still escalate this through Daraz support even after the return window is closed, given that the issues were present from day one and have only gotten worse?
  2. Has anyone here dealt with a similar situation where defects were ignored initially and then became serious later? How did you handle it?

Honestly, i regret not reporting the issues within the return window but at this point i just want a fair solution. Either a proper repair, replacement or ideally my money back so i can move on and get a reliable machine.

  1. Is there any way to still escalate this through Daraz support even after the return window is closed, given that the issues were present from day one and have only gotten worse?

  2. Should I directly contact the seller and try to claim the 6 month warranty? If yes, what should i expect, repair, replacement or refund?
