Basil trimming help

Planted basil from seed need advice on how to trim to get it to grow out not up. I have watched a few YouTube videos but my plants seem to not have very many leaf nodes. I have them all one trim on main stem so far but I think I need to take off more. For some reason I’m nervous about it… everyone else’s basil on YouTube tutorials
is bushy and has lots of places to cut…

Bird is out of nest

Fledgling has just left next. It’s super hot. He was on doorstep didn’t want him to get stepped on so I gave him a little pat on the behind and he moved off the ledge. It is super hot. Parents are right there. He’s still blocking my walkway but I’ve been walking around giving wide berth. Unfortunately no other way to go besides past it. I assume I leave em alone? It’s really hot here. Will it just fly when it’s ready? It’s just sitting there. Before I could finish posting a chipmunk came and snatched him and I charged out of my apt and chased and chipmunk dropped and I brought bird back. Seems ok. He tried to fly again and failed.

introducing my friend to fishing

Moved to western mass and got my buddy into fishing. He's excited about it but we are both getting frustrated because we are not having any luck. So far, I caught one very small pickerel; he hasn't caught a single thing yet and is getting discouraged -- so am I. We have gone to a few different lakes and ponds, maybe five times in all, and I have gone by myself a couple times as well, and gotten nothing. I've tried a bunch of lures and worms and crayfish but I can't seem to even get pan fish to hit. We are looking at getting a little boat tomorrow and I assume that will help, significantly. I am not an expert, at all, I am still a beginner myself, despite fishing on and off my whole life. Any suggestions on how to start having more luck? We will keep at it regardless.

I have three crayfish and I want them to make babies

I have three crayfish two females one male pretty sure, but the male is missing a claw… All roughly same size and in same tank. No fighting so far. One female maybe about to molt. Advice for getting babies?

Suggestions on painting this lady? Possible vampire?

Became painter of minis for the dnd game I’m playing. Don’t have much exp I’ve painted a handful so far but nothing like this. Ideas? I think she is maybe a vampire but I dunno… the dm got it online. I don’t think this dress is medieval either. Thanks for tips.
