theory about "less" on "sad girl in love"
i apologise if someone has already thought of this but i just wanted to share my theory about the new album! i was relistening to "drop dead" earlier today and the first line caught my attention - "i know that the bar closes at 11". now this absolutely could be meth math, but i wonder if track 11 on the new album is going to be the song where olivia's relationship finally ends. we've now heard track 8, 9 and 10 on the album, and together they seem to chronicle olivia's realisation that her relationship isn't fixing her and is making her depressed. it would make sense if track 11 is when she finally decides to call it quits, and the final three tracks deal with the breakup and aftermath of the relationship. the eleventh track is called "less", which could very well be about olivia feeling less whole after splitting with louis. "expectations" could be about the contrast between how olivia expected to feel after the breakup and the reality. not sure about "cigarette smoke". perhaps it's a timeskip and it's about running into louis in a smoking area somewhere? really not sure about that one. what do you guys think?
