Why do people think season 3 is glorifying sex work?

Every day I see a few posts about how its just about showing sex work and its glorifying it blah blah blah but,,, how??

(Ignoring the very obviously misogynist thing to make basically every female character a sex worker, but thats a whole different post)

We see a girl die of an overdose in the first episode and literally NO BODY CARED apart from Angel, we see strippers having to give blow jobs to random disgusting men, we see Kitty be r*ped (and not even a graphic torture porn scene, this was actually portrayed normally), we see Angel trafficked/dead (probably, not sure but something def happened), we see Jules get a wake up call in the latest episode and there's def some shit which is gonna go down in the next episodes.

If someone sees this and concludes that this show is telling people to go into sex work, that's their fault 😭😭😭

What are they doing on Hunter Schafer in season 3 of Euphoria?

Her skin more specifically. Its very bright and smooth and shiny, almost like a porcelain doll. It looks veryy good. She has similar skin in irl pictures too and it looks so ethereal !!

Also her eyes specifically. Euphoria is famous for eye makeup, but it seems a lot of her makeup is focused on making her eyes look,,, bigger?

I've never really done makeup and I'm a man so I've been discouraged from it a lot, but she looks SO good and I've always wanted sort of an ethereal feminine look 😭😭. Would love to know if I could achieve this with maybe skincare? Or really light makeup and eyeliner? I'm a real amateur so idrk.

Its a show about the dramatic and messy lives of the characters. They are very obviously NOT going to be good people and frankly never were in the first place. Women irl are also not walking talking angels lol, theyre humans with complex emotions and messy lives.

It feels so stupid seeing people idolise women and when they do something against another woman its all "she's not a girls girl!!" like yes !! That's the point its a show which is supposed to be dramatic and insane. Humans have complex emotions in general and are usually hypocritical, whether thats a good thing or not is up for debate.

Honestly, this feels like pop feminism all over again lol. Just shallow and has no substance whatsoever.
