Should i start a band?
I am heavily influenced by the great southern trendkill and far beyond driven by pantera, crowbar, sepultura, real nirvana (not smells like teen spirit), bit sabbath and stuff. And i wanna stay (or get) close to the songwriting and sound of the great southern trendkill. i think the songwriting is almost theatralic or like classic music, and not just verse chorus verse. i often think about, if pantera didnt do steel, which is softer, fatter and more sabbath-like, but got even heavier and extremer after trendkill. so i would say, i‘m pretty oldschool. cause i dont like the kind of metal people play today. i want maximum groove, aggression and destruction in my music. i dont wanna be the 1000th whatever copy but also dont know how to develop the genre even further without becoming this type of metal, which is played now. i hope someone understands what im trying to say. please share your thoughts. thanks!
